Title: Help with confirmations on transaction
Post by: pd7 on November 20, 2013, 09:57:34 PM
I sent a transaction 2 days ago, and I still haven't had ONE confirmation go through. I set a relatively low transfer fee, but it says its optional anyways! I didn't realize I would have to wait over 2 days for one fuckin confirmation :/ Here's the transaction id:

Can anyone help confirm this? So ridiculous -_-

Blockchain.info says:
Sorry we could not find any blocks or transactions matching this hash

That transaction is not found as either a confirmed or unconfirmed transaction on the network.

You likely used a wallet that allowed sending with less than the required minimum fee (cough blockchain.info), resulting in the transaction being ignored.

It is also a slim possibility that bitcoin wallet software on your computer didn't properly transmit the message, most will attempt to periodically retransmit if left open.

Yeah, I just looked it up earlier myself. IDK, its just sitting on my bitcoin client saying unconfirmed (0/6 confirmations) I sent it to an address for my localbitcoins.com wallet, and it says that the transaction is unconfirmed as well. So it sees that its sent, but no confirmations. like, wtf?

I used the standard bitcoin-qt wallet to send the transaction. If I sent it with less than the minimum, what can I do to fix it? Theres no cancel button :P
