Title: Theymos, please help. Account locked, signed Msgs inside! Post by: cntryboy_alt on April 27, 2018, 07:31:06 AM My account has been banned suddenly this evening, and I have no idea why this would have happened? I've been a member for quite a while and never had any issues, was using my account earlier today with no problem, then went to change my password and log in afterwards and got a message I am banned? This is the message that shows up: "Sorry CntryBoy, you are banned from using this forum! For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com"

I'm not aware of any rules I've broken, and as I said I've never had any issues or warnings for anything. Can someone look into this and see what I did to cause a ban? I received that message after changing the password and trying to log back in. So does this mean there is simply a "reset" or "cool-down period," or is this an actual ban? If so, how do I get unbanned for simply changing my email address and password?

I must have missed that PSA somehow. The word "banned" jumped out at me more than "locked" did, so I was thinking the worst! I have followed the steps and submitted the unlock request and requested info via email and PM as the quoted thread suggested. Hopefully it will be sorted out! Thank you again for the assist. Most of the older ones are from my blockchain wallet, which I do not believe you are able to sign a message with. The thread says to email the address in the error message and to PM Theymos and BadBear, which I have done. However it appears that BadBear does not accept PMs from new accounts.... anyone else that may be able to help with this? I'm sure Theymos has a lot to tackle as it is.
