Fuck, so no money flowing into camp, takes a week for a money order to mail.

Metric Fuckton
More properly, "Metric Fucktonne." The Fuckton is the Imperial standard for the measurement of fuckweight, while the Fucktonne, in contrast, constitutes the Metric measure of fuckmass.

Generally used to imply superlative quantity with the Metric standard included to emphasise this point. The inclusion of the term is, however, fundamentally a misuse of that standard, as the Imperial Fuckton (2000 Imperial Fuckpounds) denotes a slightly greater measure of fuckweight within Earth's gravitational pull than does the Metric Fuckton (1000 Metric Fuckilograms).

Oh, I get it now.

That arbitrage exists only in the realm of fantasy

Oh I assure you, it's real to some people. Dunno about selling in Gox though? How to remove the fiat? Sell in China for yuan and wire the funds back, that'd work better, but you better have access to a CNY bank account.

Once CampBX gets ACH it will be easy.

1. Send $xxxx to CampBX.
2. Buy coins.
3. Sell coins at Coinbase at the same time for 30% more.
4. Money shows back up in your bank account in 2-3 days.

Lather, rinse, repeat.  (Wait, does that sound too much like money laundering?  Hey NSA, I'm not laundering money, just arbitraging.)

Nope, if money transfers are quick, such good oppurtunities will not exist as many will be doing this

I just bought some at Camp.

Hey for everyone's information - they accept Dwolla and since I cannot use Dwolla any longer at Gox, I have been using it at CampBX.  Very easy and cheap once you have Dwolla set up and running.

I'm still experimenting, but the Dwolla/Camp combo is good for me so far.

Yeah they discontinued Dwolla integration, so how are you still using it?

So then the question is:

Does Coinbase bring CampBX up to the Bitstamp price which it seems to always be close to?

Or does CampBX drag Coinbase down to its lower price?

CampBX volume is so low that it'll get dragged wherever the rest of the market goes

Whoa.  When did this happen?  I was about to use it for pulling fiat out.  I knew about the Gox/dwolla thing, but somehow missed it with Camp.   Maybe I missed the memo.   I may have to retract my earlier comments. sorry.

I bought at around $500 on the 20th.

I had some money in there and planned on buying right before the ACH deposits started flowing since I figured nobody else would have dollars in there while everyone waits for their ACH to start transferring.

Unfortunately I did not notice the 7 day delay. Oh well, I did get some cheap coins.

CampBX didn't discontinue it. Dwolla announced that they will no longer do business with any bitcoin related business, whether an exchange or otherwise over a month ago. They should have emailed you about it.

Right... in essence discontinuing withdrawals via Dwolla.

Takes 2 to tango
