Title: Re: 5870 burn out Post by: deslok on August 03, 2011, 11:11:08 PM A 650w psu is more than enough for a 5870 mine is running on a 550. as far as a short circut problem you'd have to be more specific as to what point it reboots at (after post loading windows ect) burning out two cards is hard on a motherboard it's definitly possible you damaged it
