Title: [Namecoin] Namecoin client not working Post by: Hekuro on August 03, 2011, 10:47:52 PM Hey,
the Namecoin client for Windows isn't working on my Windows 7 64bit. When I start it on cmd it asks for Windows Firewall permissons and then simply does nothing. The HDD is showing some activity for a few minutes but then namecoind.exe does nothing anymore. No output where I should put the config file... Simply nothing! (Only the opened cmd window) When I close the cmd window it gives me some kind of "close" exception error or something like this. Can you help me? I got it now. I have two questions: 1. Does it make sense to mine with CPU on namecoins? I've only got 8 MHash/s... 2. If yes for question 1, could you name me some namecoin mining pools?
