Hey guys, for those of you who are familiar with what faucets are but find them to be a hassle, I have a site that makes things MUCH easier. Essentially it's a BTC faucet rotator (http://faucets.cryptoplace.net) (you just click on to the next one) but it also keeps up with the timers for you and shows you the timers once they are all on cooldown. This allows you to maximize your earnings all on one site, without the need to have a ton of bookmarks or keep visiting different sites to see when you can use them again. There are currently 27 faucets in the rotation, and if anyone suggests any others to be added I'll vet them out and add them if they pay as they should!

Update 01/17/15: v2.5 Release Notes
Did a MAJOR overhaul to the system that creates a win-win-win situation for myself, visitors and faucet owners. The changes implemented:

1) Went through and purged all broken domains/sites
2) Purged sites that were set as inactive and have been for a while (assumed to be faucets that are no longer maintained)
3) Set up new flags for faucets: adblock (not currently implemented). This will allow visitors to choose whether or not to view sites that won't let you claim with adblock up!
4) Added new stat: Payout. This designates the amount of coin earned. For things like Mint/DOGE/KARM/etc., it's based on entire coins (such that 5 in KARM would be 5.0 KARM). For Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc. it's based on 'toshi level (such that 50 in Bitcoin would be 0.5 uBTC, and 100000000 in BTC would be 1.0 BTC)
5) Reorganized how faucets will show from now on:
A) It pulls those with referral programs first and organizes them based on their payouts. It will show the highest paying to the lowest
B) It pulls non-referral faucets and organizes them based on payouts. Again, it goes from highest to lowest

This gives incentive for faucet owners to:
1) Increase their payouts
2) Open referral programs

This gives visitors:
1) Higher payouts in a much more organized fashion
2) Should lead to higher earnings on a per-faucet basis as time goes on

Along with these changes:
1) Header ad was removed! Added donation addresses in their place, :)
2) Added a new public listing of faucets! Check it out here (http://faucets.cryptoplace.net/sites/publiclist.php)!

With the new public listing, it would be much appreciated if visitors help keep the database pruned and updated. If payouts increase for your favorite faucet, toss me a PM here or an email (coinfaucets@gmail.com) with the ID and what you need changed. I'll verify data and change it if needed. I also plan to implement a user-accessible change and addition system, but I'm not sure when this will be ready.

Was this in relation to the site itself or the faucets? I tried to make the ones on the site itself as unobtrusive as possible (in that they are in the "box" around the content so they aren't in the way/aren't harassing).

I am planning a new change "soon" (I hope to have it tested and working today or tomorrow, but no promises). Essentially I am working to make the site less annoying. Keep in mind that I can not control the ads on the different faucets though.

Are there any features anyone feels are missing from the site? If so, feel free to toss them here or via PM and I'll check them out! :).

I think its semi automated , we have to fill the wallet address every site every time

It's not working for me, I'm getting only one site, when it shows that 28 are avalaible, but when i click "next" i got the same one  :-\

How often do you update this service?

It really depends. Usually I get reports via email so I just follow up on those. I do prune the list on my own occasionally as well.

On your end, do you have cookies disabled? These are required for the server to know which sites you've hit and when you hit them last.


It is. I actually had another feature as part of it where the site would store your address and input it to any that it could (different sites use different mechanisms, so probably 1/5 or so of the sites could be automated in terms of address). People kept complaining about "having" to input an address on the site, though (even with a notice saying it wasn't necessary but was stored for future visits so you don't have to keep going back to your wallet), so I ended up removing it.

It keeps up with the faucets and their cooldowns for you.

My site is not designed to hurt anyone; only help. It helps faucet owners by allowing people to use their sites more. It helps users by letting them do the faucets easier and faster. Everyone benefits from it. A completely automatic system would be one-sided and would lead to faucets being taken down. That's not in the spirit of what I want to do, nor in what Bitcoin is designed for. I want to support both sides, not just one.

How about adding www.CoinLearn.org to it ?

I've actually used your site, :). There are two issues here, though:

1) Your site requires staying on the page for x period of time
2) Your site uses dynamic timers

The rotator is designed to let people go site -> captcha -> site -> captcha and fly through them. It doesn't work so well with yours, :(.

Why is the topic self moderated, if I may ask without being deleted?

I've had to do that because of the massive number of people who post solely to get increased post counts (basically spamming every single thread they can find to try and rack up thousands of posts a day). This helps keep things more clean, and I actually suggest that anyone who creates a thread do it moderated.

I'd never delete a post that was on-topic, whether it was positive or negative. I just get tired of having to filter through people posting things that have nothing to do with the topic.

Alright fair enough. It's just not common and therefore I thought the question was relevant. Many people are using self moderation option to remove everything they don't like / agree with. I'm glad you had another reason, and a good one at that.

For what it's worth, I've never had to remove a post here. I just learned the hard way from other threads, :p.

Update! Fixed a bug in the code. Site's been running months now and nobody ever reported it!

The bug was in the timer. If the time was < 1 < 2 hours, it was showing it improperly by adding the hours to the minutes. Instead of 1 Hour 30 Minutes 0 Seconds, for example, it would show 1 Hour 90 Minutes 0 Seconds.

This bug has now been resolved and the time shown is as it should be.

Update! Fixed a couple more issues. Apparently when I added on the KARM/MINT/DOGE I forgot to alter my code so their timers were broken/merged. All that's been fixed and everything is working as it should!

Update again! Added a new faucet, 9Bitz (http://9bitz.eu/?r=5130) to the rotation! I'm always on the lookout for great faucets to add to any of the coins that are supported, so feel free to toss over suggestions and I'll look them over!

Hey all, I'm curious as to if there are any other coins you guys know of that have multiple faucets (and would be worth adding to the site). Right now it looks like the current design can only fit four total, but if I get enough time I plan to overhaul the site to fit more and make it much easier to maintain.

I was very pleased when the rotator can I download, I do not see any link to download the rotator, can I get a download link,? hopefully with the rotator bitcoin we can get more and more time effective ...  ::)

It's not a download -- it's just a site. Basically what happens is when you visit it (and the proper section, such as /btc) it will load a faucet that isn't in cooldown. It'll also show the total number of faucets left for you in the top right. As you go through one by one, it will *only* pull those that you are able to claim again. When you've made it through all faucets, it will then show a listing, in order from the one that goes off cooldown first to the last (longest), and you can refresh that whenever you want to figure out exactly when you can visit faucets again.

Basically it automates the entire timing process for you, which is helpful since there are some that are 1h, some 3h, 6h, 12h, 24h. Plus it has all of them built in, so you just need a single link.

Update: Bitcoin Tap has been added! If anyone else has one they need added to the list, feel free to toss me a PM!

Do you guys have cookies disabled? I just tested this (DOGE/KARM/BTC) on desktop, laptop and mobile -- using two separate connections and three different browsers, and they are all working properly on my end...

That'd be why. There's no viable way to track which sites you've visited other than through either cookies or IP. I prefer cookies for two reasons:

1) It means I'm not logging IPs

2) If you go from one connection to another (say, using a laptop/mobile device) you can continue where you left off

Too difficult to claim. Users shouldn't have to keep scrolling down to do it.


Looking into this... was able to reproduce it on a fourth system (weird that it works fine on 3/4, even using the same browsers and that many are still using it daily with no issue).

Scrolling down? It's only once and not much to scroll down to, and you can click the faucet button in the slider or the tab if you don't want to scroll down. However, if you don't want to add my faucet, I accept your opinion, thanks for your time.

Actually, the top area takes up the majority of the screen (even on desktop), forcing users to scroll. The rotator is designed for fast claims -- not taking extra time to deal with things like that. It's the same reason I reject any sites that use forwarding; I support sites that are user-friendly.

If you got rid of the top area "We'll help you earn your first bitcoin" or whatever it says, it'd be a good match for the rotator.

Hmmm. It's ok then, I like that slider, it makes my website look better, and I don't think that is much to scroll down to, it is very user friendly, and only takes 2 seconds or less. Anyways, thank you for your time, appreciate it.

I've tried your site but the first problem appears with their first page:
"Please disable adblock"  ;D

Thanks for that site and idea but i think that the sites that are linked-in have to ask for the user if he/she wants to disable adblock and not force users to disable it in order to use a faucet that spread few satoshis  ;)

This is a great point. I can extend the site a bit to:

Separate faucets based on whether or not they force ad blockers to be off
Allow users to choose if they want them included or not

This could be a great solution to that. Thoughts?

I wish! There are still some sites that offer less DOGE per claim. I think a cool extension of the site (but would require a bit of work to the backend) would be to set the organization of them based on payment amounts or something, such that as sites offer more, they would automatically get higher priority. I'd think it would help promote higher payments.

Removed two DOGE Faucets:

1) Altcoinfaucet -> it was only paying 0.1-0.3 DOGE and I felt this was pretty insufficient. I did leave in a faucet that also pays low but its minimum was 0.5 DOGE (and caps out at 1 I believe). I'll let you vote on keeping or dropping that one as well

2) Cyan Rainbow -> it's been empty for a few days now so it's removed until it's been refilled

This leaves us with 4 current DOGE faucets in the rotation.

Some of you have undoubtedly realized the site is currently down. I apologize for this. My server went through a major issue and should be resolved soon. I'll update as soon as it's finished. On a good note, the server is also being upgraded, which will greatly speed up the site!

New DOGE faucet added! It pays more if you visit it less frequently, but I set it up for a 4h timer since the more often you claim, the more you earn on a per-time basis. I figure 4 hours is a good balance.

I added your faucet to the rotator. As for sharing the script, I won't be doing that, though I may sell the current one (v2.0) once I finish and release 3.0. Or may take on a job creating one with custom features as requested.

Added more faucets! Including a new DOGE one that gives 5 DOGE per claim, is usable every 30m, and appears to only use fast number-based captchas! As always, the timer is automatically tracked for you so you don't have to do it yourself!

Definitely! As a heads-up, I'm currently doing a new update to the site, so it may react a little weird while I do it. Cleaning up the database, reorganizing faucets, etc. I'll toss another update here when I'm done to explain the changes, but I think you guys will like it!

Been contacted by a couple new faucets. As a heads-up, if your faucet focuses on trying to get erroneous clicks or otherwise harass visitors, it will absolutely NOT be added to the rotator. The entire point of the rotator is to make things easier for people, and I will not support those that are using destructive, irritating methods to try and milk as much money as they can off each visitor at the visitor's expense.

As a heads-up, from this point forward, if your faucet has an adblock blocker on it (i.e., you can't claim if you have adblock on), you will NOT be granted admittance to the rotation. This is annoying for myself and visitors, and it's one of the worst changes to come to faucets. As such, I will NOT be supporting it. I'm trying to decide right now if I'll grandfather existing faucets or block them from the rotation as well.

*Disabled "SuperFaucet" -- only paid out 20-50 satoshi and just wasn't worth it
*Changed cooldown on "Red Faucet" from 10m to 11m to reflect their site's change (previously, if you used the rotator often, you'd hit the "you can't claim yet" error. This is fixed


I'm looking for new faucets to add to the list. They have to be unobtrusive and must give a decent amount of coin. Currently, only one site on the rotation has an anti-adblock (Bitcoins4.me). I plan to remove this once there's more on the list. Submit yours today!

Hey all! So I've done some more adding to the faucet rotator (sites), pulling the best of the best I've found so far. And I wanted to give a sneak peek as to what's coming to the rotator! I'm currently dealing with the design document, but essentially, what I'm looking at changing is:

1) Adding a drop-down menu that supports unlimited coins/altcoins, so it can be an all-in-one rotator. This will also allow for some condensing on the back-end (at the moment, each coin is held separately, but I'll be designing a script that separates them automatically so more can be added as needed)

2) Separation based on:
A) Payment methods (direct, FaucetBox, Xapo, etc.)
B) Anti-AdBlock
C) Sign-Up Required (some faucets require accounts)

The above flags will be able to be changed at any time, so you can customize the faucet list YOU want to see, rather than seeing everything there is.

3) User flags (faucet offline, faucet empty, faucet dead, etc.). I need to work out the specifics behind these, but I'm planning to have a semi-automated system to help temporarily disable sites as they come up with issues. Far too often, people contact me about a faucet, only to find that it's ready again an hour or two later. This will help let users control the process a bit

4) User additions (instead of me having to manually add each site, I'm going to be adding in a user-customizable method of adding new ones). Essentially, what this is going to do is ask for some basic information (that I normally find on my own) to input the site into the database where it belongs. It will then "pend" the site for my approval

5) Adding a new flag for "permanently banned." People keep misrepresenting their faucets to the public, altering them as needed to be added into rotators, and then changing them back as soon as they're added. I will have a flag I add to sites that are permanently banned. If a faucet misrepresents itself, it gets one strike. If it fixes the issue, it will be added to the rotator. If it then reverts back, it will be permanently blocked and will NOT get another chance. There will be NO disputes here, either -- if someone is shady enough to do this (like a few sites have), we absolutely WILL NOT support them, and will do everything we can to block community support. This HAS to stop. It's destructive to the entire faucet community when shady sites do this

6) I'll be re-designing the layout heavily to help support these changes

If anyone has custom additions (things not already implemented/on this list), please speak up! If I like the ideas, I'll throw them in the design document before I do a full re-write of the rotator, :).

I've done more pruning on the BTC side. I've personally been using the rotator a bit lately as well. It's worth noting that a couple of the faucets randomly run out of funds, but generally get refilled after an hour or two. That said, I'm thinking about adding a temporary flagger so that if they're out, users can flag the faucet and have it removed from the rotation for x time.

Also, note that I believe FastBTC is in the middle of the rotation. Definitely let me know if payouts increase, so it'll get higher priority.

(On that note, I really need to set up a script that shows me the rankings... I'll set up a public one later so that instead of just being able to see all the sites, you all can see a real-time listing of exactly where your site ranks and what it would take to jump up another spot -- I think this is win-win for both users and faucet owners alike)
