Title: Casascius Coins all years, graded and ungraded. Post by: Nightowlace on November 24, 2013, 01:27:32 AM *Updated*
Below you will find a list of coins available from a large collection of coins I am selling. All coins are in my possession and ready to ship. Escrow through John K is available if needed buyer pays fees. You can check my history and trust feedback and decide for yourself if you need escrow. Worldwide shipping and insurance is included in the price listed. I am open to offers. I am open to trades. Casascius Coins ANACS MS-64 2011 25BTC w/ rare "Casacius" hologram error. This large Gold plated coin is loaded with 2.5 BILLION units of currency, aka Satoshis. Sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next wine and cheese party. Only 586 of all 25BTC denominated coins remain fully funded, and much fewer with the series 1 hologram. This coin was funded October 28th, 2011. 1PWoVTA88kocZciGE4FNGfq5ehNBAykHDq Price 37BTC 1Ag7YNgLmrKgVrJLrhUHq2ct7Cfuw4UMmZ Price 26BTC 1AgYKnsoKJBZQLWFNaXzprSgxQznRbe39J Price 29BTC ANACS MS-67 2012 5BTC w/ rare "Casacius" hologram error. Only 1,246 of the 5BTC coins were produced, with very few of them having the series I hologram. Only 1,083 of these remain active with a hologram intact. This is a great example with a high grade of MS-67 out of 70 on the Sheldon scale of coin grades. This coin was funded February 3rd, 2012. 1Cso4pj9ZzJ6SAUaNj1qPUg3s2zsHhX5s5 (note: the anacs holder shows a typo as it states "1Cgs4pj9") Price 9BTC 2012 5BTC w/ series 2 hologram. This coin was funded April 1st, 2013. 1CSn5SKia479RNaK6eeEXTtS7RYyCKxz6S (note: This was one of the early coins that someone added 0.001 BTC too) Price 7BTC ANACS MS-66 2011 1BTC w/ elusive "Casascius" series I hologram error. Many of these first year coins were circulated, thumbed, and jostled in pockets. This is an EXCEPTIONAL example compared to the neglected ones during a time when Bitcoin was still young, and most didn't realize how collectible these coins would come to be. This coin was funded November 18th, 2011. 18iHFVCVeQMotJnsapw9d4uSRi2rviTgFQ Price 7BTC ANACS MS-65 2011 1BTC brass w/ series II hologram. The owner is a close friend. I helped him start this collection and then he just went wild! Haha. Very impressive. Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. Post by: miffman on November 24, 2013, 08:50:48 AM This is without a doubt the best collection of coins I've seen. Only thing missing is a 1000BTC Casascius gold coin ;D
Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. Post by: ixne on November 24, 2013, 12:17:00 PM One of the best collections behind Goat and Casascius himself. I have to wonder why you would sell the entire collection as a set, however. There are only a handful of people in the world with the interest and bitcoins to acquire this collection, and I'd bet that half of those already have their own collections. Any chance on selling off individual coins?
Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. Post by: Chainsaw on November 24, 2013, 01:46:09 PM Amazing! You're more than welcome to link to it from the marketplace thread.
It's great to see a second 2011 25 BTC up for grabs, not to mention another 2011 1 BTC [MS-66]. Not to mention a first-offered Lealana and Titan offering. I hope you're able to find someone willing to buy the whole lot. Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. Post by: bitmarket.io on November 24, 2013, 03:01:06 PM I'm up to negotiate for that silver 10 coin. Everything else I don't care about. I saw your listing on eBay yesterday. You will have a hard time selling that as a whole. Part it out or hold on to it longer.

Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. Post by: Nightowlace on November 24, 2013, 06:49:45 PM Thank you for all of the comments. I appreciate them. We have been contacted by the owner of www.gyft.com he seems to be very interested in aquiring the set. As for why we are selling; because as amazing as this set is we had so much fun tracking down the pieces, collecting them, grading them, and if we are able to sell this set we will be able to begin building this set again. It took a long time, many people, and coins from all over the world. We've met amazing people, established friendships and business relationships. It will be a fun journey to do it again!
And yes Goats set is very amazing! I can't even begin to tell you how much I would love to see that set in person. I would love to be able to see Mikes (Casascius) set as well could you imagine ring able to see and hold the first funded coins? That would be pretty cool. Imagine in 20 years, to be able to say hey I was there, I saw it, held it, now it's worth $1,000,000!!! Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. You think as the value continues to climb they will be so expensive that only a very limited few can afford them? Is that a good thing or bad? Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. Coin collecting is a billion dollar business. There are very deep pockets that will pay dearly for coins they want. Title: Re: Physical coin set. Graded. Individual pieces now available. This is another piece of good news for the collectible marketplace as a whole. Is the buyer willing to reveal both identity and purchase price? Absent that, just knowing price is next-most-helpful, then just-buyer. Worst case, I could log its sale, with you as seller and both buyer and price anonymous. I think there are a lot of people interested in seeing what kind of premium a low-mintage coin such as this has sold for, as Bitcoin has risen from the ~$200 level to the ~$1000 level. Few want to "go first" in buying, in terms of BTC premiums, when the price has risen. I'm anticipating that, once 3, 5, maybe 10 sales come in at this new price level, that confidence will be restored, and marketplace activity will grow substantially. Title: Re: Physical coin set. Chainsaw, At the buyers request I have been asked not to reveal final price or buyers name. The sale is currently pending payment, which should be received 12/06/2013. I will keep everyone updated. And prices for all coins have been updated. |
