Yeah, last time I sent ~$3900 to someone for unproven technology after a first round auction that hasn't even arrived yet and a second round auction was spun off to put people in a buying frenzy was... oh, wait, never.  Good luck to everyone who won, can't get an answer out of Bitmain in regards to the usb's so hopefully these units are for real.  Something just doesn't seem right about this whole deal.

 ... sometimes you just gotta spin the wheel to try and play the game ...

 I'd be lying if I don't have a bit of butt-clenching going on right about now. We're all taking a chance, agreed. Lets hope all this stuff is on the up-and-up.

There is plenty of proof that bitmain has the equipment to produce (and have produced) a lot of boards, and at least a few assembled units. I have no doubt that the antminer exists as a physical item, so as long as it is inside the UPS package that im tracking and mines BTC, Ill be very happy.

ps: i figure difficulty will soon become 70%/month while we wait for 28nm stuff, which could be somewhat profitable for these devices :)

yes， i feel that dell PE2950 PSU is perfect match with Antminer, i get about 6 pcs of 2nd hand Dell PSU with cost of RMB750 include the courier fee, ~ U$125

its valuable PSU. The only problem need to selfmade the connecting cable.

Dell server PSU PE2950 will be a good choice...

I have 1 650W ATX that im gonna butcher in a bit. then go shopping... I have limitations in choice of locally available things... Prolly end up with normal DC transformers - 12V > 400W . But thats tomorrow... its already 4:30pm here and im still in bed.

short circuit pin A1+B1+B6+C6 to power up the PSU.
Use jumper connector to connect B2+B3 to configure the Fan in silent mode.
P1~P3 is grounding, P4~P6 power output. you should measure it before connect to the antminer

I asked one of my Chinese friend who lives in China, Shenzhen (The city that Bitmain claims their factory is located in) to call them and Buy one Antminer Unit from their Taobao Store.

They announced they will put up 30 units at 21:00, 23 November for sale. They crossed 20,000 CNY and priced the units for 18,500 CNY.
My Chinese friend (who is familiar with Taobao website and usually buys from it) tried to buy one but after some unsuccessful attempt he said "they are just showing off that people are buying from their store and there is not any actual sale. They don't let me to buy and they are actually using their Taobao store to advertise their validity". And as my Chinese friend claims no one is able to buy anything from their Taobao shop.

I am emphasizing that my Chinese friend tried to buy from their Taobao store on the exact time they announced and tried it for two of their announcements.

I just hope my Chinese friend and I are wrong in our guess that they are scam.

I have it connected to the LAN port (not wifi) and setup the WAN as per the instructions provided by Sushi. Did not make any changes to the LAN settings. Its quite straight forward.

Actually I have no idea what does hardware errors imply in the case of Antminer, because I am getting the same hash-rate as shown at the pool.

it shows low accepted bcouse it doesnt count difficoulty
it should be 13841* for example 512 if its your worker difficulty

as i cant edit
for example i guess your worker diff is 128

13841*128=1771648
then its mean u got 3%hw errors
63253/1771648

DiffA DiffR DiffS are also there in the counts

Either way I am more concerned with counting the hashes on the pool, for them to be accepted and paid for.
