Wrong section. You can follow up or be patient enough to wait for the verification of your identity. It is a safety deal. HitBTC support team can help you solve your transaction issues.

Oh god,6 months is horrible. I thought poloniex was the worst because they take like 2-3 months(which is still not good)but 6 months is unacceptable.

Alright, they told 2 weeks yes? Wait out for like 2 more, hopefully you should be getting your XRP back. If not,you have possible choices:

1. Sue them.

2. Follow them up on every one of  their social media accounts and ask them for your money.

3. Be patient.
Do what you got to do. And why would you send this much money to exchanges without even reading their FAQs,I am being a hypocrite right now because even I sort of did the same thing but nonetheless.

6 months is really a unacceptable service for a certain exchange. If you wont mind on following up that issue then it would turn out not to be resolved at all. Sending tickets and contacting them on their active social media accounts would really help you out. Just dont spam out on sending tickets or any other means.Do it once in a while until they would come back into  you. Its too unprofessional to leave out a client hanging since they do already have asked that it do needs further verification.OP did comply such thing but didnt get any response on 2nd time?

[...]

I do not know if you are reading the posts made in this thread, but if you are reading then I recommend that you hire a lawyer and report your case to the police, if you have a relative who is a lawyer then it will be a great advantage for you, because this exchange will not solve your problem if they are not forced by justice. this is one of the great reasons that many people will not deposit much money in these exchanges because they render bad services and have no respect for their customers

more than 50% of exchange provides bad services

HitBTC is definitely not the exchange you want to have this issue with. They are notoriously known for their inefficient customer support, and recently we've even seen cases of them going as far as asking for proof of the source of the funds deposited. And even if you provide them with the required info, they still delay it and ignore any support messages you send them.

Even though you made a mistake on your end of not including a the payment tag, they acknowledged that this issue can be solved, and gave you a timeframe.

Now it's been way more than a week, I think it's fair for you to demand your deposit. You can either take legal action, or keep waiting. That's why using shady exchanges like HitBTC is risky.
