I can't escape to notice that many users here on forum have terrible rebbelious fear of governments. Like government is some evil devil that will destroy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But is this realy so, do such claims have any reasonable ground at all?

To my opinion the cause for something like that is again ignorance. I think that regulation that is mentioned in many countries is often mixed with centralization which is something that is not natural to Bitcoin because it's functioning totaly different than fiat currencies. Also some warnings to people that Bitcoin is volatile and risky investment that come from national banks are often interpretated as hostile behaviour towards Bitcoin and attempts to make people not to use it.

Is there any hope that Bitcoin users and governments will find the common language and help Bitcoin together to be more accepted in economy, especialy by businesses and to become more "legal" everywhere?

I believe there is a room for btc and gov to work together in the future once there is more adopters for btc, gov will slowly feel the pressure either from users or companies and the gov will have to think of ideas to incorporate btc into the long term plan.

it is natural people are curious what governments have to say as they could impose some barriers on crypto industry and make it less accessible. However generally speaking, that is not what is happening.

Some does have reasonable grounds, and they help the community as well by doing so(specially those who do fundamental analysis) because it will lessen the time spent on looking for news(by speculators).
There is a hope for governments and users to be on the same page and help btc together in increasing adoption rate. So long as there are benefits governments can gain by doing so, do not lose hope.

because unfortunately whenever price rises it attracts a certain type of people who rush in with their eyes closed. they don't educate themselves and are usually brainless. they don't even understand what bitcoin is and what a decentralized currency truly means. they just listen to some other idiot FUDster to talk some nonsense in their ears and they follow it like a sheep.


funny you should mention this. it usually isn't! we keep seeing topics around here by newbies saying government is set out to kill bitcoin or some of them are even claiming they have already banned bitcoin! I don't even know where they get these nonsense from!

it can be over egged but it's also an understandable dislike.

let's say the current system of government was proposed to a bunch of us nomads today.

we're thinking of coming up with this new system. it'll control where you're born, how you're born and whether your parents can keep you. when you're a few years old you'll spend most of the day in a school controlled by the government that'll teach you what happened in the past and how to think.

then you're out of school and you can't just live anywhere you want. you have to live in something approved by the government. that'll be taxed by that government. if you don't pay tax on it you'll be thrown in jail.

you'll have to work to pay for it. your work will be controlled by the government. there'll be certain things they won't permit you to do and there are so many of those you may not know you're breaking the law. if they find out they might send you to jail.

it's possible while you're working that a war will start and you will be forced to fight in it. it's not your business to question why the war is happening or whether it's actually protecting your country, more than likely it isn't and it's the agenda of a few people.

you may well die during this war. if you refuse to fight in this war they might send you to jail.

if you survive you get old. in theory you paid the government a vast amount of money to look after you in your old age. in reality they squandered the money and you're probably screwed.

then you die. the government controls how your corpse is disposed of. it costs a lot of money. if someone decides to something different with it then they go to jail.

People cannot create money like Bitcoin (decentralization) and governments have an well established money system that has seen many wars, economic crashes, 9/11 terrorist attacks, economic booms, technology revolutions and more..

Some corrupt governments just want get some taxes to our bitcoin if they knew we are holding a huge bitcoin on our wallet. so that's why being anonymous is more important so the government will not get our hard earn money.

There is no doubt that everything that the government cannot control is a threat to them.
Uncontrolled Finance is a threat to the economy and to the indicators of gross domestic product.
The profit gained from cryptocurrencies is a concealment from taxes, which entails holes in the country's budget. Of course, any government will do everything possible to get rid of what they consider a threat.
But this is already a running mechanism. And of course no one wants to say openly - I am rich, but do not pay taxes. It's a prison and confiscation of property.

Possibly those people have huge amount of bitcoins and they are afraid that they will be questioned by the Anti-Money Laundering Agency. Or another reason could be is that they are just afraid of the huge taxes that will be placed by the government. And lastly there could be a misunderstanding about the role of the government that is why they are thinking too much.

Theres only one reason why those users that afraid of governments is about TAXATION ,because of so much love of their profit,they dont wanna give the government a piece of cakes,and those people that agraid tl be tracked maybe they are doing something fishy about their money,because if we are really fair and law follower we must know that in every amount that we gain,theres a tax obligation for the government

Governments hold the fate of Bitcoins in their hands, They can make policies that can either destroy Bitcoin or make it better and prosper, if the governments prohibit the use of BTC world wide, it will lose relevance and hence fade off and die, If the governments legalize it then that will be its key to success. The future if BTC depends on the government policies

it was already achieved in some countries and it is starting in others too. for example Japan, Australia, Korea, Germany, Venezuela, and a lot more countries have already adopted bitcoin with open arms. the number of countries that are still defiant to bitcoin is so little and the people in those countries are already doing whatever they want because they are realizing that bitcoin is decentralized and the government can not have a say in it. eventually bitcoin will be accepted all around the world just like any other currency such as US dollar is.

It's merely because of trust issues. Bitcoin is innovated due to the flaws and blunders of centralization that is why a decentralized currency is invented in the first place to avoid human error and fraud. The blockchain technology alter this kinds of fraud by using nodes agreement to order transactions. Aside from being transparent it can also prevent double spending and avoid cross border fees.

There are some countries that are legalizing bitcoin despite its decentralized nature. The only thing that they are afraid of is that bitcoin can be used as a vehicle for money laundering. That is why the government really wanted to do KYC on every users in a certain exchange company to provide or atleast monitor illegal transactions.

   Bitcoin has many features. One of them; it is not owned by any center and can not be controlled by a particular structure. With this feature, Bitcoin will take its place in World History. Bitcoin is creating a new world order. Thanks to Bitcoin, there will be a payment method that is accepted all over the world, but does not belong to any authority. International payment methods will be easier. Go wherever you are in the world, you will see your needs. This is really important. The old order is breaking down and the new order will be established. Therefore, governments may be uncomfortable. But that does not change.

I remember the speaker when I attended seminar this past few months. We are talking about taxation and reform laws where he introduced to us that the government is us. He actually emphasized that the people who are in position are just an official of the government, we select them based on what we think it should be good for us, by the virtue of votes.
We should not be scared in the officials of our country specially if we are in a democratic form of government. The mass is the voice and we can be an activist or refirmist against the ruling of the government. If they banned the bitcoin, we can complain to them specially if they did that for their own purpose only and not for the sake of the states/country.

I think the fear comes from potential for banning or over-regulating Bitcoin. There is so much variation in how countries are approaching cryptocurrencies from taxes to laws about exchanges that it’s hard for the everyday investors to know what the future will hold in terms of regulations. I think it is inevitable that cryptocurrencies will be mainstream and legal, but we don’t know the path to that point.

I don't agree with this if they ban Bitcoin it will still continue to grow no matter what happens. Some countries already banned Bitcoin but it didn't have much impact when you look at the price. If Bitcoin becomes illegal worldwide (it won't though just an example) people can still transact offline without the government knowing by exchanging bitcoin wallets/private keys just like how illegal things are being sent and receive.

I'd argue "fear" is the wrong word.  The issue with governments is that nearly all of them have this warped perception of how economies should function.  It's all about perpetual growth, which is a sham.  There's no rational reason why this should even be a metric used to measure economic success.  I could be wrong, but I don't believe it wise to rush into regulation until there's less of a gulf between their ideas and ours.  Otherwise we aren't going to agree with their regulations and that won't be conducive to progress.  I've emphatically surmised before that they simply aren't ready to see things the way we do (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3333504.msg35594481#msg35594481) and that their past performance in terms of economic regulation isn't something we can overlook.

Bitcoin was created with this feature called "anonymity" and that is what I honestly liked about it. I don't fear the government, not at all - but I assume once they take charge to bitcoins, or they have written a law for bitcoin, this feature will vanish. The government fears bitcoin and not the other way around. They fear it because they don't know who uses it (unless you are a fame whore). They fear us because they couldn't tax us, but we make money from global citizens and nobody knows how much we make unless we disclose it. And for the record my friend, bitcoin and the government won't make a perfect couple.

I can fully agree with that. Government is chosen by the people for the people so we are those who elect the government and decide our destiny. If we choose wrong and bad people then we will have the bad situation including those related to cryptocurrencies.
So we have to think on ourselves and in what kind of countries and societies we would like to live in. If we elect prosperous and modern governments they will have also more modern and prosperous approach toward Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Till now we have not heard about a person who cannot use cryptocurrencies due to the government ban. It is same in all the countries. No one can stop people from using something which is decentralized.

I don't feel any fear about the Government, it will actually be an aid to make Bitcoin more recognized and accepted. Regulations are not bad, this will be a good thing for the system specially in this where there were lot of scams coming. Recognition from the government also will help the people to gain trust in investing into it.

I think its the other way around, in my country, the government is obviously manipulating the media about bitcoin and the crypto world, they are airing events where people are scammed using bitcoin, but they are not really telling the real deal about cryptocurrency. In my opinion, it is the government who are scared of cryptocurrency, I think the upcoming change brought by the crypto world is gonna be a very big one that the government doesn't know how to cope up.

in the US we have a private company making our monetary policy - the federal reserve. it sounds like a government agency with the name "federal", but it isnt. nobody who runs it is an elected official, and nobody who is elected appoints anyone. that being said, when you look back to 2008 and see how the bankers literally got away with wrecking the economy... the fear of government, at least in the US, is pretty reasonable. the powers that be are threatened by bitcoin (and other cryptos) because it cannot be run by them...

because the government has stated several times that bitcoin is illegal and will close it. of course bitcoin users who already feel the benefits of bitcoin, are worried. including me. if the government closes the bitcoin, there is no more promising investment land.

Yeah, though in different countries there are different ways of coping to a technology. Many people afraid of the government because they can see that the government is against in using cryptocurrency because there people are using it for tax evasion but there are also countries that their government accept cryptocurrency but makes sure that it is only used to earn money and not in illegal activities that is why they imposed regulation guidelines. Yes i agree of this naturally bitcoin users have fear in government in connection to this kind of currencies, because if the said government focus on this and they knew it that a huge amount of money involved here, and if they legalize it i am sure that they will  impose more rules and policies including fees in favor of the government. And im sure that  individual investors will be affected to this, they will suffer also the fees or taxes.

Because government in any local country are powerful and many corrupt government officials will do anything just to get more money and we're afraid when government  will put some taxes in bitcoins or else they will ban it or directly ban in our country without begging for taxes because govern is like business too not all of government that sits in their positions are just want to help community other else wants to earn more money and to become powerful person :)

Regulation should not be feared by crypto holder. Government will not be able to shut down bitcoin or cryptocurrency because bitcoin or cryptocurrency and if they want to shut down crypto, government should shut down internet in entire world.

I think somehow government and bitcoin user can meet in middle when the right time comes. In addition to my answer, Bitcoin user is afraid of government because Government has a power to impose rules and policies that will benefit of them, and I'm sure that individual investor will be affected and will suffer as the outcome if government will have a hold and control over bitcoin.

I believe that government can ban bitcoin. That is why bitcoin user is afraid on it. Bitcoin is amazing but some government ban it because of some negative issue, The bitcoin will directly ban if they want it. So if the government ban it some users will not earn or used bitcoin anymore that is why many people around afraid or have fear on government.

Government issued money or fiat money have a stable price and the increase/decrease of its value is only a little amount. While on bitcoin, its price is randomly increasing/decreasing because it depends on the people that trades it in the digital market or trading sites.

I dont understand why some crypto enthusiast's like idea of world without governments, it will be apocalypse - world of full chaos

You know, if you're like a guy who always tunes in to news reports you can actually see that these days bitcoin and alts are gaining more positive rather than thw negatives of bitcoin, this cause would make a big effect to governments, and yes alot of us fear governments because they have the power to close out bitcoin anytime, but with the help of social media and technology I fairly think that the governments would be able to see the good side of  bitcoin and alts, because it can also be a big help to the economy of their country, bitcoin if used in the right way with the partnership between a government could really help boost the economy.

I don't think centralized entities especially governments want to accept something beyond their control like decentralized cryptocurrencies. It is always become the centralized one, indirectly nor directly.

State regulation of the crypto currency in general is really not to be afraid. I think the reason behind it is their fear of losing money. It is obvious that when a country or a government have banned or restricted Bitcoin or altcoins there are negative movement on the price. Also government has technically the power to impose banning of crypto currency which I think will not happen in a democratic country.  Legalization of Bitcoin and altcoins can only be true if the government said that it is legal.

Don't fear with the government because we still need them so we can still able to use cryptocurrency. Be scared if they banned bitcoin or other coins because we will lose this kind of opportunity to make money.


I'm confident with our government that they will not banned this thing, there might be regulations but I think its ok as long as we enjoy using cryptocurrency. Scams might be the reason for the government to banned bitcoin but hopefully it will not happen.

The bitcoin users have fear of the government because if bitcoin will be recognized by the government, it will not be decentralized anymore , it will be under some policy of the the government like securities and exchange com., the bureau of internal revenue , and other financial policy under the central bank, this would fear the bitcoin holder.

yes, I agree with you. because the government's decision to ban bitcoin will put the bitcoin value down, and the impact is that many bitcoin users are harmed.

in india many miner bitcoin, whereas RBI ban crypto transaction. and bitcoin miners fear regulatory RBI will hamper their mines. and even shutting down their mining activities.

when in the future more and more users crypto, and dominate the world market, so every country will receive crypto, because the volume for the government is the main factor that can move the stability of the country.

When Banks nearly destroyed the global economy and people were crying in front of Bank branches and closed ATMs, the government were the force behind those decisions. The Banks were then bailed out of trouble by governments with tax payers money and the CEOs of these Banks got huge bonuses for "saving" these Banks.  ::)

Can you understand the anger and resentment and loss of trust for these institutions now? Now these same governments wants to make decisions for a technology that can prevent another economic collapse?  

For a newbie 'yes' they would say like that, bitcoin will be destroyed by the government because of the regulation that they are blind. They are afraid because the government banned bitcoin until finally he has the idea that bitcoin users will sell it, it's a bad thought. They didn't know that government regulation only provides a temporary price reduction effect.

And this has a similar position to the government, the government only sees the cryptocurrency of its negatives alone. They prefer to see or hear bad information about cryptocurrency, with good information they will ignore it. Until now I have not known for certain why they (government) prohibit cryptocurrency, especially in my country. This is because government can take legal action if you violate their laws like ban on crypto. Just because you are able to make those transactions does not mean that you are safe also.

if you ask me, I guess those people are using their illegal money to buy Bitcoin. when someone don;t pay taxes for his/her income/investment/property - that profit is actually illegal.

I believe that bitcoin and cryptocurrency are a big threat to the government that is why they don't like bitcoin. Bitcoin being decentralized means the government cannot track down every transactions made with bitcoin so they can't implement taxes and you know government hates it when they are losing tax money.

Not just that they don't have the opportunity to invest but what hurts most is they cannot convert it into fiat when they need cash. Lucky for reach people that can easily travel to countries that are friendly to bitcoin. I am always thinking of this because it may possibly happen in my country too.

Your idea is possible to achieve. Government and bitcoin users will become partners in the future run of crypto negotiation. There are changes that was done a couple of months. Some countries make cryptocurrency welcome with government blessings. While other remains banned crypto. Maybe in the future of little by little it will be seen.

Yes some people are afraid that government would decide to ban cryptocurrencies. I, myself is afraid that someday our government would just totally ban crypto which is bad news for me as I am earning more in crypto than in fiat at the moment and i would be force to let it go in case that happen as I don't want to violate the law.

Through cryptocurrencies, people find a way to freedom from the government but then here comes regulation and people do not want to accept it. We are already experiencing decentralization but then the government do not want to let go of their control which would mean centralization but I don't think it would be fully centralized if there is regulation because some of the transactions are still anonymous.

Yes eventually this would happen. We can see some countries already regulating cryptocurrencies and some of the biggest stock exchanges wanted to integrate crypto trading as well because they can see that more people are getting interested in it.

People have to obay the rules and regulation and low of their country otherwise they will be punish for that. In fact if a government will turn bitcoin as illegal then undr the tretory of that country you are not allowed to exerciese it, therefore people are worring about if their governemnt will turn bitcoin as illegal then it will become difficult for them to use bitcoin as openly as they were using it before.

Yes, I agree with this. In fact, we have witnessed a boom in the value and capitalization of the crypto market in 2017. This shows that part of the impacts and policies from the government are not approaching or the crypto environment is Unregulated and legalized (spontaneous and deflated). But this year, we've seen that the bans and the effects from the government have a huge impact on the value of the crypto and bitcoin markets. Then the G20.

The main reason for people to fear using bitcoin when we talk about government is the word support. Most country does not have enough support of the government for them to inform them the essential uses of bitcoin when it comes to investments, transactions or even in trading. Most of the people that first got involved into Bitcoin were cypherpunk or libertarian, or both ;D libertarian viewpoints are somewhat logical, but then there are zealots and also people who take that into extreme anarchism. It's the same case with social justice warriors creating mobs on twitter, certain platforms tend to have a bias and mob mentality.

Governments might have some fears when their citizens start to adopt more crypto rather than the centralize money, which can be tax purpose or whatever reasons which will affect the country economy inevitably. Especially governments are able to ban crypto or adding regulations to crypto which can destroy crypto from growing in their country. To me governments is not evil but their have to protect their own gains, in the big picture government is just a human also. Government regulations is inevitable. It’s just a matter of time. Bitcoin can’t become mainstream without recognition. Some people still think of bitcoins as a scam or a Ponzi Scheme because it is not regulated. How can KFC or Amazon accept bitcoins as payment without going through the tax system? It’s not like all governments are out there to do bad things on their citizens.

Yep, the government will always win, and I believe if those scams continues to spread around cryptoworld this market is in risk. We have nothing to fear as long as we do nothing, and I hope regulations will happen so we can easily attract those scammers.

Its simple. Many bitcoin ivnestors buyed bitcoin very cheap and got now a huge profit. So they want to keep this profit. But theres possible that some gouverments want to take this profit away from them. Maybe they will bann bitcoins in there countrys. Or even worse, maybe they will set really high taes to bitcoin and other crptocurrencies. So why should anybody who was smart enough to invest in a future technology give almost they whole assets away just because a gouverment is jelouse and want to make profit too?

In India they have done it and middle of last year the US has done it through coinbase with the IRS asking for all documentation from its user base.

Governments are the policy makers and they decide what is operational within their borders and what is not. Bitcoin has been claimed to pose a threat to the national economies due to the fact that its free and untaxed which most governments don't like. Governments by definition cannot control Bitcoin. Controlling currency means that you can manage circulating supply by releasing new bills into circulation or taking them out of it. They cannot do that with Bitcoin. However they can theoretically obtain more than 50% of all bitcoins and this way they could manipulate the price.
They can also tax it, yes, but this would only cause price crash, while functionality of bitcoin would not be harmed.

For me many bitcoin users have fear in government because they thought that someday government will ban bitcoin all over the world. More people are used bitcoin and other crypto currencies as source of income, that's why they rely and they were always affected to the fluctuation of crypto in the market. As long as your country is not banning bitcoin you can pretty much invest freely without boundaries. But I think when your country banned bitcoin I think it is risky. It is a mindset of people that bitcoin is scam and illegal. But for those openminded ones, it is a valuable asset or investment to have. As long as it is not used on illegal ways, there is nothing to fear. 

I think it's just a matter of time, many countries are not ready to adopt cryptocurrency as a means of payment. there are some issues that must be anticipated by the state, among others: Internet facilities that are not evenly distributed in the country, the lack of technology education, security, theft, scalability, regulation and crime (money laundry, drug transactions, weapons transactions for terrorism ).

I think it's fair. China was a big source of crypto users. But suddenly China banned Bitcoins in there. Facebook is the biggest market place now. Facebook already blocked crypto currency with ICO issue. Although some countries has shown appreciation but still I think it's fair to have some fear of government. Great, well I don't think we need to worry about what we are doing if our government supports crypto currency. As we know crypto currency are very demand here in cyberworld in which some countries didn't legalized crypto currency. In some point here in my country legalized bitcoin in fact some of our mode of payments accepts bitcoin. I think bitcoin users feel that if they use bitcoin, they can break any regulations from the government and they don't want to go jail because doing illegal things. but as long as in that country, bitcoin is accepted and even the government still not giving any statement about bitcoin, then bitcoin user could use bitcoin by free. but once the government has made the decision to prohibit bitcoin then it is clear for the citizen to not use bitcoin because they will break the regulations and this will make them doing illegal activities.

Many bitcoin user have fear of government because they all know that there's a chance that our government can make our bitcoin disappear. Actually in other country they didn't let anyone to make an cryptocurrency transaction

It is indeed that few people in the bitcoin world feared the governments maybe because of the threat they see if all governments will totally ban the bitcoin. We all know that government is more powerful than bitcoin they can stop the production of it in just a snap. They are also afraid that governments will end any bitcoin transaction.

Government has the power to ban, to stop anything in the country where they belong so bitcoin users afraid that it will happen in the future. They (bitcoin users) also scared or afraid because government can possibly stop or end bitcoin transaction if that's happen then we loss the possibility to earn money or to get profit.

This is because government can take legal action if you violate their laws like ban on crypto. Just because you are able to make those transactions does not mean that you are safe also.

I think that its a lack of awareness about Bitcoin and how it works. As we know that in the worst case, governments can ban crypto to fiat and vice versa transactions so even in such scenario, we will be able to send and receive crypto without breaking any law. On the top of that, international exchanges are always there if someone is willing to buy or sell crypto so this fear of government is based on the lack of realization of the potential and power of decentralized payment systems.

Fear of government is common thing, because if they come with plans that bitcoin is banned within the country. Because the only group of individual that might influence the activity of bitcoin is the government (though not to mention hackers, social media corp. etc). I think it is mainly because of the fact that millions of bitcoin users are actually millionaires now and with those huge amount of money, they are tax-free. So their concern is that if government will rule even cryptoworld, TAX will also does rule over their money.

As i write i don't know any government around the world that has been able to successfully and completely banned bitcoin because there is no system in place to ensure that except bans on ICO's and exchanges from operating in cryptocurrencies and that doesn't stop users of cryptocurrencies in those countries  from trading them on an international platform so there is no need to fear the governments in my opinion because even if they ban all exchanges around the world we can still buy and sell bitcoin on a peer to peer basis and meet in person without any third-party interference.

They think that government will ban bitcoin when regulation when in fact it would only be the exchanges that will be regulated here. If exchanges were regulated then it would be advantageous on the user's side because they will be protected from fraudulent acts committed by exchanges.

Great question, i was thinking about it myself. And to be honest, i don't see bitcoin holders and governments finding a way to make bitcoin legal worldwide in near future.
Many governments are currently studying blockchain, and trying to apply it in their economy or other sectors - that's a priority for them at the moment.
Adopting bitcoin worldwide is a real challenge for governments, as i think most of them still say "it's a bubble" for the reason they can't control it.

What I hope to see is golden mean between regulations and freedom. For example, not so long ago one regulator informed users that one of the ICO's is a potential scam. It didn't ban it, didn't punished, just informed people about a possible threat. I think it's a perfect middle ground.

Government have the power to make changes in their country and also to its environment and you are right because that kind of threat is very scary for the users of the bitcoin and also other cryptocurrencies because they might experience a huge loss for their cryptocurrencies if the government ban their cryptocurrency from their country because it will provoke to the market to fall down because of the bad news. The role of a government is an important element of a country. If the government has certain concerns about bitcoin then issue a policy of banning the bitcoin, what can we do? do a demonstration? Sometimes the fear of Bitcoin users are grounded on hollow grounds. They seem to be blowing up everything out of its proportions. They tend to exaggerate. However, I also don't think that there will come a point when Bitcoin or crypto will go hand in hand with the government for its success. In my country, the government is not too strict about entering the Crypto market. They have a policy of blocking transactions on the Crypto market but it is unclear. So we were free to make money from this market.
I feel quite happy because there are some countries that have actually removed Crypto.

I think it is very hard for your statement to happen.  It is because of different things like the nature of bitcoin which is decentralized while the government wants it to be centralized it so that they can regulate it. Also,  banks and other businesses do not want bitcoin to flourish because it might affect their income so they are also pushing the government to regulate it or if can, to ban bitcoin in their country. I am not one of them. I do not fear government, I respect our president and some of the trustworthy government officials. They may ban or legalize bitcoin but it is up to them. And I always expect the worst but am still hoping for the best. If time will come that they will ban bitcoin, I have no choice but to follow. Bitcoin is decentralized, yet, some exchanges are being targeted by the government. It's not because the government hates Bitcoin, it is for security matter, I guess. yes of course you are right many bitcoin users are scared by their respective governments, because bitcoin users put the assets he has in bitcoin. The government's decision to ban bitcoin will cause prices to fall and this has a direct impact on the benefits of bitcoin users.

Every user have some sort of fear upon the government while using bitcoin. This is not because of the regulations it has been making upon cryptocurrency usage, but the authority to control anything. It is not beneficial for governments to completely prohibit bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. It is advantageous for them to impose large tax on all transactions with cryptocurrencies. They need complete control, not a complete ban.

But in a short-term yes, they have the jurisdiction to prevent bitcoin and another cryptocurrency but they can’t kill bitcoin or bitcoin will not die because of them. Unfortunately, we are very dependent on the government, and if all countries agree among themselves and ban bitcoin, we simply will not have a choice. So we have to fear the authorities.

I think that regularization is a good thing with that bitcoin can have a legal support that can be awknowledge by many.  I think what bitcoin users and goverment has to do is to have a discussion about it and share both their insights so that many they can have the best idea in both side.
