Title: Best Litecoin exchange?
Post by: Mort432 on November 24, 2013, 11:41:11 PM
I was considering going with BTC-e but after recent accusations and a lot of bad feedback I'm definitely not intending to trust them with my Christmas money this year :P

So, what out there is worth using for someone in the UK who's not done any real trading before, for trading Litecoin, with decent security and a sensible way of depositing my money? At least the option to wire or SEPA my money would be good.

BTE-c is out for obvious reasons.
Kraken is currently out because their charts suck dick and at the moment the option to make a SEPA/Wire transfer isn't appearing for me.

What does the community reccomend? There are good BTC exchanges coming out of every orifice but nothing particularly great for LTC I can find.

sounds like you're looking for Bank of America to process your coins.

they are all fucking shady, bro. every exchange is full of shit.

i have some LTC on Vircurex - and they haven't stolen them yet. so, that's a plus - not an endorsement, though.

I use http://www.BTC-e.com along with a 1/3 of all USD Coin traders.

Take a look at https://bitcoinaverage.com/#USD and look to see the volumes of the various exchanges. Go with one that is at the top and has plenty of volume and trades LTC.

... and BUY some BTC!
