Title: can blockchain.info be wrong ? Post by: xorxor on November 25, 2013, 05:43:21 AM I sent a relatively small tx , and the adress owner confirmed recieval.
my wallet shows everything OK. but on blockchain.info, I can see the another much bigger transfer under this TX, to some unknown to me address. I am affraid to even do -rescan , please tell me blockchain.info could be wrong. Title: Re: can blockchain.info be wrong ? Post by: xorxor on November 25, 2013, 05:50:33 AM Every website glitches once in a while, if he received it then I would take that over blockchain.info maybe I wasn't clear blockchain.info shows 2 transactions under that TX, that small one confirmed and some unknown for me, big one. also shows my ballance way lower. amount on that second bigger transfer is identical to last one of my incoming transactions. I used precompiled 0.8.5 win32 bitcoinQT downloaded from official page to generate wallet, PC is secured beyond imagination, wallet is encrypted with extremally long and complicated password that is not stored anywhere. THANK YOU!! anyway, that scarry experience went good for me anyway, I am just transfering all my wallets to special netbook that will be used only for operating wallets. that is the most secure way, isnt it? not a single other program copletely cleen , just updated original system with new updated antivirus and runnig firewall. Safer than a virus infested computer you could still have some malware on one of your wallets. I use Armory for Bitcoin and use the signing computer as little as possible on the internet. Don't know of any armory type wallets for alternative crypto's. |
