http://www.xtrememiners.net/ do you think they are scammers? Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: J_Dubbs on November 25, 2013, 05:06:20 PM a saw the ASICS on Hardware Comparison an searched for them in the internet. http://www.xtrememiners.net/ do you think they are scammers? I only purchase what is "real". My outlook is if these guys had a real product they would show photographs, not renders. It seems like common practice for these companies to "sell the vision" to raise capital to put towards production. I buy equipment for right now, not 8 months from now. This is highly speculative stuff and you need to price in the significant risks when not dealing with a sure thing. Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: recypha on November 25, 2013, 06:11:04 PM the domain was registered 4 days ago (http://whois.net/whois/xtrememiners.net) yet it claims to have sold out hundreds of units.

Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: cosreidalpa1986 on November 26, 2013, 07:48:15 PM Okay guys so if you’re interested, read this, if you’re not, don’t.
I just ordered a Tiger and a Lion ffrom Xtreme Miners. I know it is risky, I know it is possible that they are a Scam. But seriously, many of you mine themselves so they know that this chance is actually bigger than the risk you take. Go to coinmarketcap.com all the alternative currencies are raising like crazy , because everyone who still has GH miners will now switch to the other currencies – because the BTC difficulty is too high. This is the chance to mine other currencies like PPCoin.. remember when bitcoin was worth only a few cents and now everyone is like „omg i should have kept those coins“ well now the other currencies are worth a few cents, but they can go up as well You could win so much with these miners, you could also lose all your mooney, and i take the risk It used to take me 10 days to mine 10 bitcoins, so if you saved the bitcoins from a couple of months ago, you only lose a couple of days that you have beem mining. In a few months you will remember this thread and say, you should have invested in the alt-currencies as well This is simple math: the risk is so tiny compared to the amount of money you could win. We’re all miners and a few months ago my bitcoins were worth 100$. So 10 BTC were worth 1000 $ , and if i invest that now i may lose originally 1000$, but i could get for example a lion that makes 41 btc a month in january (difficulty 2688MM) , that is crazy and the breakeven point is reached super fast. So if I lose, i lose 10.000$ that were worth $1.000 to me, so the pain is not too big. But if I win, i can get $36.000 (IF the bitcoin price wouldn’t even go up until january) Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: descarte on November 27, 2013, 01:02:21 AM its a big gamble for people who don't have much bitcoins. for big players, its might be a low risk gamble.
There are people who will always say its scam, but they themselves will buy it. good luck. Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: rammy2k2 on November 27, 2013, 01:15:09 AM how can u even ask of they are scam or not ? lol ... just look at that website .... SCAM 101%
Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: descarte on November 27, 2013, 03:44:06 AM I like the unconventional casing. just wondering where I am going to put it. A sharp knock == bleeding...
Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: Rawrkanos on November 27, 2013, 06:03:12 AM Xtreme Miners, and Bitcoin Mining Center(Phoenix Miner) have both been banned from Coinbase's payment processing service. While this does nothing to get anyone's money back if they already made an order, it does stop them from using coinbase to steal more.
So yeah, Coinbase thinks it is a scam. Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: bronan on November 28, 2013, 05:03:41 PM You seriously believe a person out of the blue can make a better miner using less power and running faster then knc made and expect it also the be cheaper....
Really did you not see the casing is a photo shopped designer lamp which was showed a few years back. Each and every sentence written there looked to me complete nonsense and extreme unlikely What bugs me the most is that so many now very rich companies still are forcing us to use prepay and try avoid payback solutions by only letting you pay in btc YOU as a customer allways loose if it turns out to be a failure.... you do not have any protection. If you ask a charge back they pay you in dollars what they posted it was if btc went up to 2000 you still get the same value, but you never get back paid in btc. If they truly was devoted into bitcoint hey would pay you back in the coin of your choice But believe me thats not going to happen Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? I recon that says it all. scam 100% the saying goes "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is a scam" Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: Ruzka on November 30, 2013, 08:28:16 AM Lol wouldn't touch that shit with a 10 foot pole. Good way to just give your money away.

Anyone know about www.solarwindmining.com, whether It's legit ? Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Anyone know about www.solarwindmining.com, whether It's legit ? Look him up here, he's got several threads, he's PMd me with free tips on altcoins, started several group buys here and has already made return to over ten paying customers. Key point being he has presence on btct. I will vow for him, if not worth anything, look him up and judge for yourself. Too bad all people simply does not seem to have the nose for the real McCoys in the business, not saying this to judge, but to wish everyone did so we'd get rid of the parasites Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: Xardas2014 on January 18, 2014, 10:56:06 AM Below is an email I got on Jan. 17th, where they claim miners are not scheduled to ship until the very end of the month...........which is total BS. Units should have shipped Jan. week 1 and already be in the hands of users.....but they say none have shipped=SCAM!!!
Xtreme Miners 6:51 PM (9 hours ago) to me Hello, we haven't shipped any units yet, why exactly would you think that? The first miners ship at the very end of this month. its scam. I have a college he was today by Xtrememiners.. and maybe see self (Screenshoots below) http://www.netzwerkadmins.de/11071390150033327.jpg http://www.netzwerkadmins.de/11081390150034278.jpg regards Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: taipo on January 20, 2014, 08:10:53 PM Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they would do themselves a big favour by at least releasing video showing where they are at in developing their miners. Both Cointerra and Butterflylabs have done so with their newest products. I am not so concerned that there isn't a big sign outside of a business location announcing their presence, turns out that is quite normal for large scale mining operations, and I assume they would also be mining as well as building rigs.
If we do not see a video within the next few weeks, or hear that they have begun shipping in that time, then this is either a scam, or they have failed to use the preorder funds to produce what their website claims they can. Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: lucas.arvalo84 on January 21, 2014, 09:36:14 AM They are onehanpercent scam! You people must be really stupid to buy something from them!
Title: Re: xtrememiners.net - scam or not? Post by: nytrolic on January 21, 2014, 11:28:54 AM I sent them an email asking if they had any photos or videos of their miners, and more specifically any of their miners in action, actually mining at the claimed speeds.
The response was that they we're too busy to take photographs, so I said something like "So you're selling hardware for thousands of dollars and don't even have photographs of them" and the response was "Yes that's correct" Avoid like the plague |
