Title: BitCoin Qt won't update: EXCEPTION:11DbException
Post by: Lyikos on November 25, 2013, 03:55:49 PM
My bitcoin qt client is claiming the database doesn't have enough space. I don't know why this is happening since the hard drive it's on still has plenty of space. Task manager is showing plenty of ram left. It stuck at 93% of the blockchain updated, which isn't enough for me to see the 1.18 BTC I have in my wallet. How do I fix this, or at least retrieve my BTC and stick them in a more light weight wallet that doesn't take weeks to update?

Full error as displayed in lower left corner of bitcoin-qt GUI:
Code:
EXCEPTION: 11DbException
Db::put: Not enough space
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe in ProcessMessages()

EDIT: Checking "detach database at shutdown" does nothing, also can't seem to shut it down properly. Results in a ghost icon in the task bar which doesn't respond to clicks and can only be manually rid of via Task Manager.

EDIT2: Mods can go ahead and delete the thread. I'll re-post it in Tech Support, I panicked and posted here without thinking.
