By paying them a hefty listing fee.

from the information I get that each exchange has different requirements, until the coins can be listed on the exchange. such as having a high trading volume, there is also a way to make a vote and pay a fee.

You can have your users vote to get added to an exchange, or you can pay some exchange a fee to get listed. It's very expensive though. Some exchanges charge upwards of $1,000+ to get listed. But, that's the fastest and easiest way. You'll still be waiting up to a month for them to add the coin even after you pay them that high fee though. So it's not really worth it.

I've read that big exchanges has big listing fee, some where you only need to vote ( you need to give a prize for voters for the effort they'll do ),

The easiest way to get to a good exchange is to pay enough money. If the project is really good and has a large community, there should be no problems.

some requirements may be required for new coins to be listed on the exchange. such as voting, trading volume and also costs that need to be issued and that could be a very high cost.

For a Token to be listed on exchange floors, I do not think it's that simple. In addition to having a lot of money, the Token needs to have a significant enough volume of trading to be indexed. And even if the Token has been indexed, but some time after the trading volume is down, it will deindex the exchange floors :))). So to be listed on exchange floors I think you need to learn from experienced managers on bitcointalk forum.

Look for Exchange with a vote voting system, and the coin must have a great community, and make a buounty vote.
so many will vote.

If you have a proper development and then you should be very easy to be listed on the exchange site. But the decision will depend on the exchange site itself whether the team interested with your coin or not. If the exchange site is using the voting method and you need a big community to be a winner. +

It depends on an exchange, some exchange can list most token for a fee, for some there are requirements. If project is well known it may be listed for free.

Each exchange has own requirements, some list only bitcoin based coins, other only ethereum, the rest list everything by accepting a high listing fee. The most difficult is to receive any reply from the exchange's support. Nowdays due to the numerous requests for listing it becomes harder and harder and at the same time more expensive to get listed at least somewhere.

The easiest way to have an ERC 20 based token and trade it on decentralized exchange, but trading volume won't be high.

Good luck!

By paying them a hefty listing fee.

Unfortunately thats not the only requirement...
Some exchange-listings work like that but bigger exchanges like Binance, Kucoin etc. seem to require more than just getting paid.

Basically after the Bitconnect scam many exchanges are doing due diligence in what coin they will add. Even if the fee is paid to get it listed.

Many exchanges like Poloniex have months ago stopped even adding any new coins because they don't have time due to their huge impact of new users and requests.

Back in 2014 it was different. Back then you could get a coin launched on Monday and by Wednesday it would be listed on Poloniex.

Back then there wasn't as much traders as there is today.

I think there are 3 different important factors for coins to be added on exchanges:
1. Community support: Big is better.
2. Coin quality: All about market cap, dev&advisor quality and tech
3. Money: If you can spend good money you can be listed on many diff exchanges.

If you don't have the ability to pay the listing fee, then it is good to list them in the small exchange. Bigger exchanges will charge very high amount for listing their tokens, so it is good to add them to the voting list for listing your coin.

You have to pay them bigger fees, like few Bitcoins to list and for many ICOs this is impossible, becase it is a lot of money.

As posters above have said, the quickest and easiest way is actually to just pay a fee. This will get you listed almost guaranteed, provided your token of course works and everything can be transferred to the exchange with no problems.

The really hard way, but I am not sure it even works now, is to enter discussions with exchanges about your product and platform, and token. If it is really good and people use it and there is great demand, exchanges might consider listing it on their own (coding has to be superb).

Most of the posts here refer to how you need to pay a "hefty" listing fee or how you have to get the most votes on the exchange's polls. However, one should also consider that you need to have a good coin.

By good coin i mean you actually have something that is innovative and has a real world use. There are so many coins out there today but most of them are called shitcoin because they do nothing at all except fork code from existing blockchains. Until you have a good coin with a real purpose there isn't much legitimate sense to get listed on an exchange.

When you don't have the big $$$ to pay for listing at high volume exchanges, you better make sure you have a huge and active following that is willing to support every vote that is needed for proper listing. If your community only consists of airdrop participants, you may have a hard time winning a vote. Also, even with a vote you need to be able to pay for voting expenses. Even giving out free coins for the vote (most exchanges need you to pay with their exchange coin, like BNB or HT) does not always mean everyone will vote....for some it is just not worth the hassle (long term holders with small bags for example).

There are also projects that refuse to pay for listing on moral grounds. They feel they are not using the crowdfund in a proper way if a huge percentage of it is already spend on a listing, when the token/coin and its value doesn't necessarily represent the top priority of the project (getting an actual product off the ground is more important).

Even in small exchanges, it will be hard if the project doesn't really have that A factor, now exchanges been too strict in implementations to avoid scammy projects that will ruin their names.

Somebody is saying that teams give money and big exchanges list all tokens and coins but it is not like that, for example binance wants a lot of things and they are right about this, they mustn't list scam projects for not losing people's trust.

pretty much. I have seen a lot of them either choosing garbage exchange as an alternative or not listing their coins until later. I think exchanges are losing money but they can't list everything that's out there due to new procedure.

Every exchange platform had a different requirement a billion dollar exchange like binance required a legitimate and not scammy coins to avoid trust issues. Some will require a fee for exchange listing but it doesn't make a guarantee that the coin can gain enough recognition. Some will require large community support, a large group of supporters determines the popularity of the coins and mos of all large volume of coins.

The easiest way to be listed on the crypto exchange is to pay a big amount of money, and your token will be listed immediately. But now the amounts are so large that not every project can pay that much. Large exchanges like Binance, Hyobi want more than 1,000,000 for the listing of new token ..!

Because of expensive listing fees of those high -volume trading platforms ($50k to $1M USD). This is now the best business in crypto currency and I seen a lot of new ICO's with a project about exchanges and trading sites. Imagine how Binance getting popularity after their launching.

Find a good partnership or recruit new advisor maybe a good choice. Adding a partnership will increase the trust of exchanger to listing the coin.
moreover if the new partnership alreadu have an experience on cryptocurrency

Look for Exchange with a vote voting system, and the coin must have a great community, and make a buounty vote.

Voting system still have a weaknesses, i ever heard "You can make a multi-account and then vote again at the exchange"
this method is still ever used for in an exchange which they dont need to verify an account. just by register and vote. all done

this one of cheating method is really disadvantageous the investor and even the owner of coin itself.

I don't think exchanges are really looking at ethical or moral metrics in making this decision, it's all about the money, make no mistake. Companies like Binance try to posture as ethical good guys out there, but the way they censor all criticism and surround themselves with sycophants and fanboys on social media suggest they are a purely profit driven business like any other...

It would vary on what exchange you would tend to list out your token since they do have different criteria either you would need to pay up some non justifiable fee or you would really be simply listed in term of votes or rather listed that would really needs complex research and investigation towards the project. Ex. Bittrex, this site wont easily list out coins specially the shit ones.

The fact is that scammers are always looking for any moves to achieve any results of their activities. I can give an example of such a project as Centra, who were swindlers and at the same time Successfully traded on the exchange with their coins.

The fastest. then you have to pay for the exchange of a huge listing fee. average of at least 1btc. more then 100btc. Depending on the exchange, the other is vote. If you have a strong community at ICO. But ICO, I think there will be no big community

Paid to listing can be applied for those exchange sites don't need the project to prove the community support behind it. But to be listed on the voting competition it looks so hard to do.
The project must build a proper business plan, good code, and MVP. around 99% if major coins are started from ico.

I have not any experience in listing any coin but I am suggesting as a trader that those coins are listed faster which have a high trade volume. The developers need that they first apply for those exchange which are new and which need coins to come to them. When the coin will start trading on there after that they have to pay those exchanges which get paid for listing the coin in this way a dozen exchanges will have your coin. After that step try to increase mass adoption of your coin by developing your coin and project more. Advertise widely to increase the community that will be the next steps to list your coin to bigger exchanges.

For ICO to be listed on the exchange floors, there are some factors, such as the potential of the ICO project, the amount of money spent, and the number of tokens for the exchange floors management. Even large venues like Binance, to be listed on it, the volume trade of the Token must reach $ 1 million to be listed.

It is not easy being listed on an exchange this days because there are lot of new token that is being launched everyday. My understanding, you have to pay before being listed on an exchange and the price to pay differs from each exchange so if you want to be listed on that particular exchange then you have to pay their required listing pay.

To be listed at large exchanges, only for money, and very large amounts. Sometimes the project does not collect so many funds, to be able to pay a large exchange. There is an option to be listed at Binance or Kucoin, via voting, but in this case there should be a lot of interest from the community.

You only have to pay the exchange to get your coin listed and start trading there.

I don't know if there's sort of requirements by having volumes or giving a portion of your token to them + fee(btc/eth).

It boils down to money, as is almost always the case with these things, which is understandable, but at the very least market leaders like Binance shouldn't try to create fake pr by acting like some ethical socially responsible douchebags,

when all you need is a payment of 100 BTC to be listed and promoted on the Binance exchange.

The bigger the exchange, the more money and tighter listing requirements there are. At least  for ERC-20 tokens, those can be traded on decentralized exchanges like forkdelta, IDEX and others without any listing issues.

According to the project team why it hards to listed on exchange because the fee is so high and they don't have money to pay that. Other reason is the exchange wants to the token / coin which listed on their exchange must have high volume before they listed on the exchange. Like binance, they will listed the token/coin which have high volume. It depends on the exchange I think.

We are not an ICO owners or ICO team members so i think no one will have the personal experience on how will a certain coin will be listed on an exchanges but base on reading in telegram chat that the ICO will consider some important things like the ICO is a success and has a big community, the ICO participants will vote for the best exchanges that ICO can cope with and finally the ICO will need have the money at least at minimum to be able to pay the exchanges fees of operation.

Depends on the size of the project and the trading volume

Bigger exchanges charge rather exorbitant fees and have strict rules for listing assets whereas smaller exchanges can be easier to get listed on with minimal to no fees

Some have a voting system which ensures only the most popular assets with the strongest community support get listed

Newly launched exchanges would be the easiest to get listed on and they generally have low or zero fees

Yes I agree with you, this happens to bitcoin tokens, deeponion and other coins. They use an airdrop system for voters against the coin. If a lot of voters then it can be ascertained the token or coin can be listed on the exchange. My advice, do not do to pay for the exchange it will be only, but it would be better if the token or coin you have distributed to users of cryptocurrency can be with airdrop system or the other, it will give volume to your market coin.

The largest exchanges do not take a weak ICO. I mean there must be big fees and capitalization of ICO, only this way you can go to a large exchanges, plus you'll have to pay a lot of bitcoins more  than 10 I guess.
If you have ERC-20 token, then on DEX exchanges you can listing your token for free there.

It depends on what Exchange are you mean if DEX its instant while Centralized High Volume Exchange is Very Expensive to list at this time and it takes time to integrate the API and other Technical works on the Exchange Platform thats why many listing Application is delayed example like Binance,* its a  crowded one thats why months were counted before it was listed aside from hefty listing Fee. lots of application still pending I think its First Come First Serve Basis. I remember a Particular Token that listing announcement was made first. and it takes 4 months to go live trading due to that reason above.

I think the easiest way to get a coin listed on an exchange is to create an ERC20 token and ask Forkdelta for a listing. Forkdelta lists 90% of all ERC20 tokens and it is easy to get on that exchange. I thnk IDEX is also good exchange fo easy listing!

Trade in all forms of tokens! The most direct is to pay the listing fees, let the exchange list your COINS! The second is some medium-sized exchange will vote listed activities, you can organize your community supporters, to vote, if voting in the first place, can free COINS! Finally, create a trading site yourself!

In my experience, to get listed in a well known exchange, you have to pay an outrageous amount of money, that is the easiest way. But some projects that doesnt have enough funds, they are doing the voting system of some exchange like binance. Or some small projects are just using ERC20 tokens to get listed on ED or ForkDelta.

I think the easiest way to get a coin listed on an exchange is to create an ERC20 token and ask Forkdelta for a listing. Forkdelta lists 90% of all ERC20 tokens and it is easy to get on that exchange. I thnk IDEX is also good exchange fo easy listing!
With or without the ERC20, bitcoin clone or own coin creation is easy to get listed on an exchanges and it will be good if the project already gain the community support. However, you can listed on exchange like Nexybit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2104611), crex24 by contacting there people on this forum and with qtrade all you need to do is fill a document.

Paid to be listed and of course the majority of small - medium exchange sites are offering this method to the majority of icos to be listed their coin through paid some amounts to the team. But this is not a the best thing because it will bring the coin to the small exchange site. to get listed on ED or FD just need to tell the developer of Ed or Fd.

Almost of the coin that I have joined use a voting way to find the proper exchange for their project rewards. Well known exchanges is the fastest but have to be paid high fee and it is good for the successful project which have enough fund for it. Some used ERC20 which is usually used by small project because it is more cheap than other.

Different exchanges have different rules.
But most of them would require the same general rules like a website requirement, a working wallet, social media presence, etc.

Also, I noticed a natural law.
The number of exchanges a coin is listed in is inversely proportional to its difficulty to get listed in an exchange.

By paying them a hefty listing fee.
Fee is not the only one reason why is difficult to get listed in any exchange specilly for good exchange.
The developer of the team is the one who knows how difficult it is. And i know a little information, if want to get list the project must have huge money to pay the fee and have good supporter (popularity) and high marketcap.

I also experienced the same thing, until I found an application called BitUniverse. The application can be used on Android, so it can be easier to check the price of coins, a list of coins in each exchanger, can even be connected with our wallets through the API, so we can monitor the development of coins in our wallets.

As far as I heard from couple of different coin Telegrams, medium size exchanges always seek payments over anything. They generally demand some ethereum and if developers pay that money coin gets listed.

some exchange sites are even charging the new coin more than 5 million dollars. I can give you an example about which is the project that has paid more than 5 million dollars to be listed on binance and it's called quarkchain. But this has become a problem because they are all wasting a lot of money for listing on binance.
You don't need to win the vote if you wanna paid a lot of money for them, but you need to win the vote if you are don't wanna pay them with your money.

I think exchanges is reviewing first about the token want to be list to their platform because some exchanges not only basing by paying a fee to be listed but they review the token if it's good and if they provide all requirements.

from the information I get that each exchange has different requirements, until the coins can be listed on the exchange. as
* it has a high trading volume,
* got the high vote
* pay the fee

If you have the right development and then you should be very easy to register on the exchange site. But the decision will depend on the exchange site itself whether the team is interested in your coin or not. If the exchange site uses the voting method then you need a large community to be a winner.

You can ask your users to choose to be added to an exchange, or you can pay a large fee to sign up. You may still be waiting for a few weeks for them to add coins even after you pay them for a high cost

It's really wrong in my opinion, binance gives an obligation for every ico that interested to participate in the binance vote to develop beta or at least they must release their platform. There was a lot of requirements to be listed on exchange sites especially for the major exchange site just like binance and any other exchange.

actually for the existing ico can make its coin registered at the exchange place it's very easy you just need the capital just to pay the owner of the exchange place, for example where the exchange in binance has a very high trading volume there I heard require 50 BTC to be able listed there.

I understand now why they will just settle on newer exchanges with low volume rather than listing on the top exchanges.

Usually, an ICO project wants to list their crypto on exchange floors. In addition to the potential crypto, the project needs to spend a small amount of money to put the crypto on the exchange floor so it can be traded by investors. And after the volume reaches a specific number the crypto will be listed on CMC and the remaining exchange floors.

High costs will certainly be listed on major exchanges and if that project really grows they will seek to list all top exchanges to ensure that all investors are liquidity good. I believe we are in a new phase of this market and if there is a foresight, listing on exchanges is always a top priority for developers.

Paying the listing fee. It could be huge but that's the easiest way to get listed. Anyways, I think all of the exchanges are wanting listing fees but varies with some requirements like MVP, KYC of the team etc,. Maybe get listed on DEX first, they require lesser requirements for listing.

Money is not the concern if the project looking for exchange listing they should have some merits, MVP, community supports and real working product & this has been proven by listing of ravencoin on binance. Also about money Binance CEO CZ clarified with his tweets "We don't list shitcoins even if they pay 400 or 4,000 BTC. ETH/NEO/XRP/EOS/XMR/LTC/more listed with no fee. Question is not “how much does Binance charge to list?” but “is my coin good enough?” It’s not the fee, it's your project! Focus on your own project!"

Yes there are still exchanges which takes huge amount of money for listing on their exchanges but still they require paper works which include brief information about the projects, project teams detail verification & token sale details.

It depends on an exchange, some exchange can list most token for a fee, for some there are requirements. If project is well known it may be listed for free.

Fee is not mandatory for all exchanges. Main things are they want project durability and how much strong project that is. If project Shaky then most of the exchange do not accept them to list in their exchange. Best solution you can read the exchange terms and conditions for listing a coin.
