If the cost of obtaining the miner + electricity cost to run the miner for 1 year < the current price BTC * how many BTC can be mined by the device in 1 year Use a mining calculator site like thegenesisblock.com (http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/) to figure out projected BTC income. Otherwise they is absolutely no point buying mining hardware. If you have free/cheap electricity you have a narrow chance of making a profit, otherwise you are better off just buying the BTC directly and paying more attention to it's implementation. 2) If you can get one elsewhere and resell it on Ebay you're laughing. Buying though I would not unless there was a significant price advantage and then I would not expect to get it at a price I'd accept as there would be keen interest - I'd rather have a bunch anyway at once rather than small deposits frequently. Our ASICs are pretty much single purpose devices - you can't even really password crack sha256 with them because it involves x like in this formula - sha256(sha256(x)). Well, Im basing it on fact that I had three real orders 1st - eBay - scammed 2nd - amazon - OK 3rd - asic labs - OK I guess you can get a decent miner on ebay.. just bad luck on my side :/ Title: Re: Would you buy the ASIC Miner from EBay?
