Just exchange the 50 BTC to USD at exchange or localbitcoins, and pay tax from your income.

Going by today's rate on MTGOX 50 coins($40,000) are sufficient to fund my education.

I am ready to pay taxes and follow all the rules. But I am from a country outside US.

Even if I convert the bitcoins into USD in which account will I get the money. Do I need to have a local bank account in US?

The second problem is that you dont know basics of BTC ( wiki, forums??)
The third problem is that nobody knows who are you? maybe youre 10yrs boy or girl, maybe 40 yrs.......

There are some good laughs here this morning. I'm not greedy. If someone or some group will donate me 10 bitcoins I can pay my final year tuition with bitcoin and I'll buy my own books.

Find something that costs you little that people will pay 0.05 BTC for then sell 2000 of them, be it ship models made out of coke cans, funny t-shirts, or interesting rocks.

lol, this is an awesome troll thread.. he acts like he has invested into all these coins, decides the correct numbers, pretends like he's an upstanding citizen by his willingness to pay taxes, and then asks for 50 free bitcoins

You should probably consult this issue with more qualified people such as a lawyer. You do not want to follow someone's advice here and have the government kicking down your door because they think you are tax evading or something.

Wow, I actually read this thread. At first I was excited for the person, thinking, "Wow, they are going to be able to put themselves through school". That would have been a great Bitcoin story, but, oh well, dooped, dooh.

Well if you have them you can easily find a exchange for that amount of btc though I recommenced holding on to it
