Title: What's going up, will going down later
Post by: supremnoob on May 02, 2018, 06:33:08 AM
Let's talk about this "principle" :)

DO you think this is an always-right rule?

How do you trade ?

Looks like you are feeling the same like me if the market is predictable right now. But this latest downtrend is really unpredictable.
Yes, i think. It won't increase forever and there will be a pit stop before it will reach another value again. Downtrend just like a rule, something was going up and it will be going down too.
Just try to sell some amounts when it reaches the top and then buy again when it goes to the bottom and i have doubled my CRPT from $70k to the $210k  ::)

It is going up and down so that we can trade there always happen. But when it is going up at which price you will sell and buy when it is going down makes you good trader or not.

That is the right rule for market conditions, we can not expect the price will always go up because:
  • If the price always goes up then that means the early sellers will incur losses because they have to buy at a higher price if they want to buy back
  • If the price always goes down then nobody wants to buy because it is tantamount to suicide

I simply don't believe in this kind of principle, this is the belief system of people with the lines of this "Oh BTC is 9,500$ but it will still go down to 6,000$" this people believing something will later go down do not really have a plan as they are just sometimes hoping or something to fall, that even if it falls to the price they want because of its low price they are afraid that it might still fall. Also look at prices of stocks of company even though they are going down, the price of the stock is always a reflection of the company's performance.  And hoping that company will go down when it is performing well is simply stupid and a waste of time. Now believing that BTC will down to an unbelievable price is being like that stupid guy.

No I don't think everything that goes up must comes down. Well maybe at a very short period of time but it will recover and soon goes back up again before you know it.

That is not always true. Let's take BTC for example. Initially people were getting 5 BTC for just filling a survey. Now, the price surged like crazy and those people instantly became millionaires. So many people kept calling btc a bubble and kept making false predictions that price will fall even after it had reached 100$.
So even if your statement is true in majority of cases, it is not always the case. Most of the famous coins do not work on that principle.

Whats going up will going down but the down will depend on its own project and real use. You can track how the coin is being use by tracking its transaction. And there are many coin which going up then going down and then become death coin. Always do some dip research before investing will safe your hard earn money.

Yes, this is how market works. Point is that you can't predict next high or deep. Or you have to trade intraday with stop loss.
I stick to opinion that in following 3 years we have to hold and wait for big funds to come in this market.

Not sure about anything. rising and falling has become so familiar in this market. If today's decline persists, I think the 2017 cycle may repeat, ending in May and June before entering the real growth phase.

I trade with technical analysis, no coin always rises so one should use technical analysis to determine where to sell and buy. Which coin you are trading is also important for me.

Yes, it will go down and up, but general long trend is going up. The middle is just noise in the grand scheme that will unfold, we just have to be patient

Many coins seem to be staying higher even though they do dip, but not back to previous lows.

Yes of course, don't expect this market to go up without experiencing corrections. There is no market that continues to pump without dumping. Every coin will fall but if its a good coin the potential of boucing back to the top is very high. The market should fall so we can trade easily and make profit in the long trend.

You can say that only about bitcoin, the price of bitcoin is at this level simply because it is the king in the entire market and that cannot be compared to none of the other coins, some coins wont go up at all and when it comes to bitcoin the price would cool down after a rally and it usually recovers really well and most of the time bitcoin determines how the rest of the market moves.

This is how we make money through volatility, traders may find this thing as a good opportunity to make profit in the short run. This market will always pump, but expect more dumps because of market evalution of every investors and traders.

There's always a correction every time the market going up or down.

When the buyer goes strong the market rise and some people will not think to hold it for a lifetime.
So they decide to sell some of their coins to get profit. This is what I mean a price correction.

It's almost always true and all you need to do is look at the charts to see that everything goes up and down especially in crypto-trading. The question is what time frame are you looking at? Is it done going up? Is it done going down? If you can answer these questions then you will surely make a good profit doing trading.

Whether it is cryptocurrency or any stock market, rising prices are unpredictable. If there is a rise, there is a fall, and vice versa.

Exaxtly, price correction means suddenly the coin price increasing to new ATH, so in order to consolidate most people who want to sell them they will sell them at rhe price and the price will go down until, there are some people who don't want to sell.

It's okay for me with all the downs but I still get the benefits of trading if I have my own strategy, back again, maybe some people have to stop worrying about all the problems with the downturn, where there's still plenty of chances to keep going, especially my guys new in the crypto world and thousands of new people to adopt coins of their choice, so that will help with the rising new people will increase demand.

This is the basic principle behind cryptocurrency and even outside of it. What goes up will also go down and what goes down will also go up. That is something that we can readily observe. In crypto, for example, when the prices are very low, there is an expectation that they will go higher in the next days. It is because there will be massive buying. And if the prices are also very high, there is an expectation that they will also go down in the days to come. It is because there will be selling or dumping for sure.

And vice versa. That is why we have been expecting for the market bull run after the bloodbath we were swimming in before. I do believe that it is the time when the coins will start to gain. Hope for it at least.

yes. If the market goes up then it MUST go down. Now the market is going more and more down. That's the problem :D. Unlike the forex market, the movements of crypto market are very unpredictable.

Shouldn't the cryptocurrency market be such a principle? If it is green every day and the price has been rising, then you dare to buy it?

The correct, and most importantly clever trader would now choose a policy of day trading on cheap coins and investing in more expensive ones and keeping them for a long time. This is the only way to survive this unfavorable period in the market and practically nothing to lose.
