Title: Backplane and blades- cooling??? Post by: J_Dubbs on November 27, 2013, 06:43:19 AM I got 3 blades plugged into my new backplane with a 1000w Server-style(?) PSU. I was planning to cool the blades using the fan output on them, but none of my local stores had fans or adapters for the 2 pin connectors on it. Now I see there are several 2 pin sizes online and I don't really know which one is correct, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also, I tried just pointing a large fan at it that we use in our living room, much to my surprise it must not be enough air, or it's not enough of a concentrated flow. Anyways, somehow I'd like to get these running tomorrow... |
