Please answer in this tread.
Forum member Zorrosv offered full design for site, wallet, mobile applications, etc. It can be common for all of this - like big products with firm-style design.
If we choose it, who can give donations to Zorrosv? I will send 1000 DTC, not 250 DTC as I promised before :)

Do you think that we should take it and use in all apps or do you have another opinion? There are several cool logos in Logo contest thread, but we need to choose only one, and I think it's the best

I really like Zorrosv's. Very clever design and professional looking! I think it will represent the coin well if chosen :)

Oh! Thanks for everyone! I'm glad to be a part of developers team! It's the most interesting coin I ever heard! Today I will post all sources of our new logo and all graphics (icons, logos in big resolution, pictures to post on forums and social networks, facebook covers and etc.). And after I will create website mockup!

I think that shortly all Datacoin services will have the same style and logos :) Actual Datacoin webpage will be there for 1-2 days, after it we'll release these beautiful changes.

One minor thing that's bothering me is that the "d" in the compact logo is hard to make out when it's really small.  Could you try changing the color so that it's a bit more visible?  It's not a BIG issue but it might help out when DTC gets added to Coinmarketcap.com.

How do white and black look?

the original one is better. The "d" is small but you can see it.
It's named Datacoin, people will get the d

Ah no I meant just for the "d" lol.  On black backgrounds a white d would be easier to see and on white backgrounds a black one would.

I agree the ones above don't look so great lol.

I really like it. I hope the author will be credited properly.

It's just old screen... I made it when we was trying to choose fullcolor or one color version.

The main problem with black "d" is that it would be almost invisible on dark BG. Yellow is better, it's good on both BG.

I suggest you do something with the window icon, like attaching a white background, attaching to center and a bit smaller.

No, in current version of logotype it's a comfortaa font (thanks for author, it's free).

Started DTC wallet at office, people started asking me 'what is it?' Splashscreen looks so attractive :)

I think you need to choose a new and unique logo.
It's very easy to copy-paste, but it is difficult to invent something new and better.

But with text we don't need to add "d". In this case it looks like standard data icon exept colors theme. But in Black&White version (for print) you can't see colors and it looks the same as typical data icon.

I don't know what is the point in bashing other's people work without having a clue about what you are talking about.
The design you are talking about exists since the first hard disks appeared and you can find them in scientific publications dating waaaay back anything you know. It represents the different platters that composed (still used nowadays) a hard drive.

The idea of using this design for datacoin was both accurate and nice.
