As Sunny King said in our New York Times article, "We are not greedy. We think crypto-currency also needs moral character behind it.”

For many of you who are experiencing the fun of owning Peercoin for the first time, there will be a temptation to invest large sums of money with the expectation that the value can only go up. This is a friendly reminder that cryptocurrency is highly speculative in nature, and it will wildly fluctuate in the coming months. Please do not purchase more cryptocurrency than you can afford to lose. Peercoin prides itself on having a friendly, supportive community, and we feel it is irresponsible to not warn new Peercoin holders of the risks inherent in market speculation. Have fun :)

Things change quickly nowadays

Peercoin growing rapidly as its advantages over bitcoin and other altcoins are starting to be recognized

I've been running Reddit ad and Peercoin giveaway (http://www.reddit.com/r/peercoin/comments/1rno5q/heres_how_to_get_some_free_peercoins/) over at /r/Peercoin (http://www.reddit.com/r/peercoin/) as well as here on Bitcointalk (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=352429.0) and things have been going great :) I've taken that opportunity to introduce newcomers to Proof-of-Stake and it has seemingly blown lots of peoples' minds.

It is a good news that BTC-E just added PPC/USD pair. I will have more options on trading with USD. :-)

I really love PPC and XPM because of the community and also the founder Sunny King who really cares about the community and focus on the values of the coins that will provide to the marketplace (In term of energy efficient, sustainability for long term)

A great community will determine the future value of the coins and I am glad that I am part of the this community and I can't wait to see it grows over time. We will definitely break records month after month. :-)

The Peercoin community is outstanding. Newcomers that poke their heads in to www.peercointalk.org are pleasantly surprised to see the depth of help resources available for getting started (both in terms of guides, and staff members to answer questions).

Combined with their security & energy-efficiency, I see big things in Peercoin's future.

Now that BTC-E added PPC/USD others like GOX will follow and the Peercoin can easily get at LTC or even BTC niveau.

I like bitcoin but i don't like the idea of volunpeers.
Gox is adding LTC for the 7 months or something. I 'm not exactly bullish on them adding ppc or any alt-coin whatsoever.

PPC has a good crack at takeing over in the long term
