When is CampBX going to support bank ACH deposits?

They said it would happen on Nov 20th. Then it said they were late and it would come Nov 27th. Now it's still not there and it's Nov 28th

Anyone know whats going on with campbx bank funding?

I did not know that there was a date when ACH withdrawals would start.

That would explain why they could not do an ACH withdrawal for me on the 19th of Nov. It would have been nice to put that on their website.

They said they "could not find" my bank account number...lulz !

They've always done ACH withdrawals; I've done it many times successfully.  The Nov 27 date was for DEPOSITS via ACH, which will be frickin' awesome for those in the States.

It would make it much easier to start an arbitrage at CampBX with ACH deposits. It should gain them a lot more volume. I wonder what the hold up is.

CampBX has been very closely tracing Coinbase's price now for some days. I've never seen it follow another exchange so closely. My theory is that their ACH beta testers have been arbitraging any inefficiency out of the price...

Could be so. I've noticed a few price gaps getting narrower (BTC-e used to be like $100 behind mtgox).

Now the question is: When will Campbx finish beta testing mode for bank deposits and let everyone do it?

I have been waiting on a withdrawal from Campbx for weeks now.  I would just reiterate you better watch out if you're depositing there.  It's gotten worse and SOMETHING is going on.

Sounds like you've screwed something up. It shouldn't take 3 weeks for BTC to deposit to CampBx...

Have you tried contacting their support or is this just some FUD?

I have only been posting about it in multiple campbx threads including the one I started myself.  The second one down you have been posting in as well.  Funny that you should blame me, sounds like the same bullshit they spout.  I also have not failed to notice that you repeatedly stand up for them even in a thread where you say it takes 2-3 weeks to get your funds.  Me thinks you are a perhaps a sock puppet.

Do you really believe that Beta tester crap. Can somebody come forward and tell me they are a beta tester. My theory is that its just a place holder to buy more time to get ACH deposits working. Fresh fiat has hit the exchange (like mines) that has been keeping the price close to Coinbase.

What about my issue?  I mean I complained with a ticket about the withdrawal delay, then they said they had logistical issues and it would take 2 weeks, now it's going on 3 weeks and I'm still waiting.  There's no excuse not to send me my money, which is less than $500.

Seriously, has anyone gotten a payout/withdrawal from Campbx recently?  Heck I might even change my cash back into BTC if I can withdraw as BTC just so I can get it away from Campbx.

How recently?  I got an ACH from them a few weeks ago, but haven't tried any withdrawals since then.

I think you're getting warm... pure speculation here, but let's piece together the available information:

Dwolla – BX's primary method of deposit – has been gone for nearly 2 months, and with it, likely a huge percentage of their transaction fees (revenue). They've got to be hurting pretty bad financially.

However, despite deposit options drying up, we've seen the BTC price on BX rise to the point where it's nearly on par with other exchanges (a rarity), along with a noticeable increase in transaction volume and market depth. And yet, we're hearing story after story about delayed/missing deposits/withdrawals. How is all of this trading occurring on BX if everyone's money is in limbo?

On its face, this makes no sense... unless you consider this angle: Perhaps the folks running BX – and not these mysterious "beta-testers" (who may or may not actually exist) – are using this new ACH deposit system TO ARBITRAGE THE HELL OUT OF CUSTOMER FUNDS in order to stay afloat? This explains everything – the stall tactics, the missed deadlines, the delayed deposits/withdrawals, the price/volume oddities...

So I don't think they are acting abnormally.

I'm not sure whats going on with fiat withdraws, I imagine they may be working with a new banking partner and are having more troubles than expected getting everything working right.

Actually got a response from their help desk saying they are sending me a USPS money order on 12/15.  I will update if I receive it.  Notice I said IF...ugh.

So......basically theft/fraud, but only temporarily and with the best of intentions o_O. That would explain my disappearing (cashed and not credited) $1,000 deposit, along with the myriad of other delays and stall tactics you mention.

I am inclined to doubt this scenario.  My missing BTC, (which went missing because their stupid expiring wallet address thing expired in just a couple hours, before the transaction had the necessary 6 confirms), are still sitting in the same address where I deposited them.  If these guys were pulling shenanigans like trading with customer funds they could have sold that BTC at one of the two all time highs we saw while they have been holding it.  I still don't have my BTC back but neither have they done anything with it.  That address has exactly one transaction, my deposit.
