"The Bitcoin Standard" by Saifedean Ammous, looks pretty good. This guy has the right vision, he isn't a shitcoin pump and dumper like most people in the space which is always a positive. Seems to explain why big blocks is a failure too.

I would be interested in buying this if anyone can give me some more data. Reviews look good but I want some people in this forum to give me some cliffs on it from the perspective of someone that actually owns bitcoin and has been here for a while.

That book is well made. It was written by SAIFEDEAN AMMOUS, PHD,  a Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University, and member of the Center on Capitalism and Society at Columbia University. This books answers the famous questions that are always being repeated on this forum such as who is controlling bitcoin?, is bitcoin a currency of criminals and also it explains how bitcoin challenges the government and banks.

I think in the future there should be even more books about bitcoin, so bitcoin books can be knowledge reference for every crypto users.

especially if bitcoin is accepted by the world, and learned in every school, then a book about bitcoin should be spread to the public.

I never heard about this book until now,but as you said the reviews look good so if you want you can just buy it and the kindle version is pretty cheap just around $12 so you need to buy that in my opinion. But I think this should be important to read for the newbie investors who treats the bitcoin as only money making tool, this might help them to understand the real meaning of bitcoin and decentralization.

I've read this is a very good book because there is so much in it to know about bitcoin and also seeing the development of the extent to which bitcoin has penetrated the world economy, perhaps for people less knowledgeable about bitcoin this book is considered less attractive to its readers.

I have never read a book about bitcoin at all, maybe i will try to read it. And thank you for telling this forum. Maybe it will be a lesson for people who want to know more about bitcoin. If indeed this book is very helpful maybe all people from this forum will know bitcoin better. I'm looking for a bit of bitcoin anywhere.

The fact is that the literature on the crypto currency is quite specific and where it is not so easy to find it. Perhaps with the further development of public interest in the crypto currency, it will be possible to get such literature everywhere and not only at bookshops.

This is really good to see that books are being written on bitcoin. I had always believed that for indepth analysis to have been done in the area of research to the extent of writing a book and by knowledgeable people would still take a few years but its seems development in this field is going faster than what anyome could imagine and based on reviews and comments from this thread, I think its just right to lay my hands on one of this books.

Yeah , I read once small in this book but I honestly tell that I didn't found anything big in this book ( In my opinion ) because there not ideas to make earnings but there was lots of the question that usually coming in the mind of the many people in negative ways .
Like who own bitcoin control and it is specially made for the illegal activities to use and also many like this .
But this is very simple thing for me because this is not a big factor for right now because bitcoin is fully digital and also fiat money system are also mostly digital and from every digital payments we need to declare for which reason we made that transaction and in that way we make bitcoin fair use without Missuse or illegal use .

Bitcoin can be best understood as distributed software that allows for transfer of value using a currency protected from unexpected inflation without relying third parties. bitcoin is a new invention of the digital age, he problem it purports to solve namely providing a form of money that is under the full command of it's owner and likely to hold its value in the long run are as old as human society itself. people choices are subjective and so there is no right and wrong choice of money. there, however, are, consequences to choices.

Bitcoin associates with the entire market of cryptocurrencies, this is its main advantage, since it is the first currency in which investors believed. ;)
Over time, the percentage Bitcoin with 40% of the total capitalization of the market kriptovalyut will be reduced, this is promoted by large blocks. :(

The book says that: Bitcoin's volatility derives from the fact that its supply is utterly inflexible and not responsive to demand changes, because it is programmed to grow at a predetermined rate.

I do not really agree with these, if there is no demand, then who will Bitcoin be needed. Just the demand and dictates the price, this proves the last week.

Bitcoin should be use for what it really design for that is as a digital currency on a peer to peer method without any third party involvement. Bitcoin book will help explain that better but aside that we must know how volatile the bitcoin price is in the exchange market so at that we should not use the price movement to judge bitcoin progress.

sounds like a good book to read. I've read several books about bitcoin by local writers in my country. as one of the people working in the crypto industry, I always support and are interested in books that discuss crypto and blockchain technology fundamentally. I hope that the book can be published more widely, and make a translation of my country's language version, so that ordinary people are increasingly interested and aware of the existence of this industry.

I personally just found out, might be interested in buying if it was recommended. But for now I think that many have made it an article rather than buying a book, maybe we can find also related articles about the contents of the book if indeed the book maker has turned it into an article that maybe more people will be interested in reading it.
