Yes with you I think all agree. And Yes, the wave of increase in the value of cyberwallet in these areas. Do not be afraid to invest cyber-currencies because you will pay off and will win in this situation.

I missed this news! Holding Waves for a long time (not too long but almost all my time in crypto world) and looking so much forward to this and other developments. Not to sure still how to use this smart contract, does any one know where we can use an easy escrow type smart contract (meaning escrow held on the blockchain). Would love to start using this soon if possible.

I always agree with any smart contract of its kind, all have flaws and advantages. hopefully with this smart contract technology the crypto world is safer from crime

I still hold some Waves and I think it will grow over the course of 2018 but it seems they came rather late with these implementations. There's a lot of competition in the BaaS and ICO game. Also there's now Universa, also a Russian blockchain like Waves that has been networking a lot. I can't really see Waves come out ahead, not meaning that it's doomed.

Universa can become the real competitor to the waves platform. Cardano and EOS is not comparable with waves because it's more superior. Smartcontract created by ethereum foundation. If there is no ethereum foundation and there is no smartcontract. Waves has already failed to develop waves own protocol to compete with smartcontract.

Pleasant news that may be appealing in the coming weeks, but we know that Waves has its qualities and has a team that wants to grow and publicize its project, but is it no longer an attractive marketing medium? A time ago i entered high values in Waves and unfortunately not corresponded my expectations, not being pessimistic i will await the course of this news and its consequences.

What did I miss? I didn't see this smart contract.

Maybe the price of the waves coin will increse if that really true because many investor again will invest if they see this news. But even they did not have this I still believe to waves when I started to buy and keeping waves since last year.

Not a Waves owner or investor here, but yes I'll be happy to see some progress in these functionalities that Waves and some other coins have claimed was possible.  They aren't going to survive long unless they create a niche for themselves and actually do something other than get traded on exchanges.  Unless they serve a purpose, and one that's actually needed, they're all dead.

Now having said that, perhaps I'll take a look to see how much waves is going for currently.  Anyone think it's worth buying?  I'll keep my mind open.

NEO based ICOs will give real competition to ether platform . only flaw of NEO platform is bug with smart contracts , soon that will be taken care by neo council , and i believe NEO will outperform all other platforms while against ether it will be close competitor .
NEO contracts are more advanced then ether blockchain .

really great that waves is ready for smart contract and it is very nice to see that the price is coming down again. I rebought some waves and I added them into my long term portfolio. Price will go crazy when we are back in the bull market!

I do not have much hope for Waves when it's good news. I do not believe in any news about Waves before it happens.

Waves is not bad, but the Waves tokens are not good. They can only be traded on the Waves decentralized exchange. It is too limited compare to ERC20 tokens. That's a big problem for Waves.
There is also TIDEX exchange which accepts Waves tokens, but it is a too small market.

As long as it is very calm, an ups and downs can occur. I expect a good rise.
