I'm relatively new here and I noticed this merit system and it's quite confusing, so one can only become Jr. Member from activity, and after that, it comes from merit. Nevertheless, you can learn from the best. Just take a look at the posting activity of users as DdmrDdmr or Bitmover, both have rank up in no time, thanks to their amazing contributions. So, just learn from the best, be humble and never beg for merits or such a kind of attitudes. The forum is a place for learning and discussing. It is never by how old your account is. For you to have created your account since 2017 and still remained a newbie confirms that you have never been active. Follow the discussions and contribute constructively and am sure you will grow. The rules of account ranking have changed and now you will not only need activity points but also you will have to reach the minimum amount required for merits. Merits are like Facebook likes but there is a limited number of merits that a member can give to another member, so in order to earn merit points you have to post quality content. It is highly discouraged to ask/buy/beg for the merit points. Just keeping it simple and natural is the best way to gain the next rank.
