Thanks to everyone posting their complaints in here; it helps keep the thread at the top. To answer some relevant concerns: Much like there are value-minded buyers, there are value-minded sellers who won't sell for less than their EV predictions. The correct pricing point of a product is where only a handful of buyers are interested, and I think there is a market of buyers out there with better EV predictions than I have. A possible reason why shipping is so much is insurance, another is an effort by a seller to indicate a strong preference for local pickup. Good luck looking for deals!
