Title: [2018-05-04] Kentucky Derby to offically accept Bitcoin Post by: isvodkabeer on May 04, 2018, 06:18:43 AM U.S. Racing, which oversees the Derby, has announced that for the first time the Kentucky Derby will be accepting bets in Bitcoin.
Last year the Derby had $100 million in total bets and U.S Racing predicts they will break that record this year when all the bets are tallied. Yes, there's one land based casino in Vegas who's accepting bitcoin as well: (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3377535.0) So don't be surprise if there will be a lot of land based or sports event like Kentucky who will be accepting bitcoin. Of course there's still a lot of question like withdrawing or if KYC is needed. Don't be impatient because I'm pretty sure this is going to be on our favor in the end.
