Title: Helpful Vid for Newbs Like Me
Post by: Persius61 on November 30, 2013, 04:32:13 AM
Hi folks - total newb here. I am kicking my ass around the block for not following up on my curiosity about digital currency when Bitcoin began to make news years ago. Alas, here I am, playing catch-up, far far too late to the party. That said, I will still pay close attention from this point on even though the golden age of mining has effectively come to an end for regular folk.
As an absolute newbie, I found the following youtube vid to be very helpful in putting things in perspective. Its now a few months out of date ($1000+ BTC was but a dream) but still relevant overall. There's always abundant technical info available, but good high level analysis of the technology and its evolution is rare.

Comments anyone? Other good source material?

Cheers,
