That's what it should be!  I can't wait for the day when I can buy gas at the pump with BTC.  Buy a cup of coffee, a bottle of beer, you know, real world stuff at an actual shop with my coins.  It's getting closer everyday!

It used to be a penny for your thoughts, but inflation and all, y'know.

i think theres two steps need to be made before we can say real world adoption is fully a reality, first is of course being able to use btc to pay for things, like petrol etc etc, second, and more importantly, is people hiring or employing others with btc, otherwise no one will want to spend btc unless they can get an income of btc, at present the only way to acquire btc is to mine it, swap fiat for it, or to grow it from investing or trading on btc exchanges, the first and third being options which most members of the public will not want to actively do, so getting wages or some of their wages in btc will be the turning point

I prefer that cryptocurrencies remain "underground" so as to preserve anonymity, avoid punitive and unreasonable taxation and promote economic freedom.

Those who promote universal acceptance are only asking for trouble and inviting government intervention, which leads to government control, possible seizure and loss of freedoms.

Cryptocurrency also poses a great threat to the inflationary fiat currencies issued by governments and therein lies the danger for us all.
