I am amazed to see that alot indian girls, womens from different cities are showing interest in bitcoins. Some people even bought bitcoins for their childrens as savings.

Bitcoin is becoming really popular day by day.

I was telling my wife the same thing, probably our kids college tuition is gonna cost like 0.5 BTC or lesser. It can replace gold, if adopted right, and we have seen the amount of gold consumed in India.

I tried convincing my dad to invest some in this, but he was like "something that doesn't exist, doesn't exist. What fool throws money at imaginary stuff?" Next month I'm gonna buy a gift for him with the bitcoins I made and try explaining it to him again. But, old timers will be old timers anyway. :P

That seems to be the general idea about Bitcoins amongst the older generations.

Hope that changes.

Hopefully the mainstream coverage Bitcoin has been receiving is helping towards making that reality :)
