Title: multibit, missing default wallet and coin
Post by: calkob on November 30, 2013, 03:23:45 PM
Hi all i recently sent 0.001BTC from my blockchain account to Multibit as sort of a test, i am really new to all this.  it worked perfectly and it said in multibit that i had 0.001BTC.  i decided to rename the wallet but i think i hit close wallet before saving it and then i set up a new wallet which is now the only one i can find.

i have searched for ages here and cannont find the original wallet or the 0.001BTC.

Any Ideas

many thanks
Calkob

Hi Calkob, I like Multibit, and use it a little. Sometimes it gets tangled up, but everything should be there. There is a choice there somewhere to "Reset blockchain and transactions". This is available for each wallet, so make sure the one you are working on is highlighted if you have more than one.

There is a choice to reset since the beginning, or reset since a date.

Try that and let us know how it works?

i have tried to reset the block chain and transactions but no luck.  cant find the default wallet that was there when i first downloaded and started.  could it just be deleted cause i never saved the wallet after changing the name or do you think it will be somewhere on my laptop?

thanks
