We are happy to announce new decentralized exchange Bitox.io. Most of you are familiar with EtherDelta and its fork = forkdelta. Our exchange is also operating on the smart contract so you can be sure your funds are safe.
We are still in a very early stage in terms of popularity but we hope that we will prove that excellence has no limits. We are accepting new token listings for free and we aim to list them within 48 hours. There are a lot of plans for the near future, such as android and iOS apps, advertisement spaces and airdrops directly to our clients and many more.
We are a dedicated team and most of us will work full time for this project.

Yes this looks like EtherDelta, looks so simple with just a different look. But is this trustworthy? I will always keep up with the information about this exchange.

We need more decentralized exchanges now,and you said you are listing new tokens for free so you can contact some of the ICO projects for get their new tokens into your exchange.But I think running a short or long running signature campaign about your project will let the people know more about your exchange.Good luck!

I just joined Bitox exchange.  Looks promising. More power to the devs and management of Bitox exchange. Looking forward for you to succeed in crypto world.

I've just checked that out , I like the idea it asks metamask login at first when i'm not , Well I like decentralize things and it is one of them , I hope you develop it and let the NEO based tokens be able to trade there too , There are some good tokens using NEO platform ,best of luck.

It is really good we are beginning to have a lot of decentralized exchanges popping up even though most of it is still in the smart contract zone for Ethereum but not a bad idea at all as long as we can have so much of them.

However, the issue now is with security, looking at how EtherDelta really had its share of that right from the onset. What are the plans regarding that with bitox if I may ask ? However, it would still take a lot anyway to be able to get people's attention for much volume, but I guess we just have to see how it goes.

Nice one. It is a good thing and I am impressed that we are starting to see a lot of developers beginning to concentrate more on decentralized exchanges even when I feel we still have a long way to go but it is a start. I have a question though, with the way security has been a challenge across board, how are you dealing with this? What are the things you have in place not to be on the same side EtherDelta some months back ?

Most decentralized exchanges to me have not really ended up having optimal performance to that regard, and volume wise as well; I hope you will be able to beat all this.

The problem with decentralized exchanges is that they mostly aren't that profitable, which is something that holds back growth and development, and that we have noticed with how slow everything concerning decentralized exchanges progresses. That's why I welcome any decentralized initiative improving that where others messed up. The goal is to end up with an exchange platform being fast and easy enough to use -- all to distance ourselves from centralized exchanges not caring about their users and the shitty KYC/AML privacy destroying regulations. I don't think this exchange will succeed, there is no important difference compared to forkdelta, you should rather build a exchange based on 0x protocol,  old ones will not be used in the future.

Thank you for your interest. We learned from ED mistakes, so security is our main priority. We strongly advice to use hardware wallets or at least MetaMask. Any suggestions on how to improve further?

At the moment KYC is for large trade deals but it could change to all traders in future so there will eventually be a shift to DEXs instead. I suggest you contact some privacy coins as they will be popular to trade on these. Those invested in privacy coins are more likely to stay away from the large KYC exchanges

How can we be sure it is safe, we can't, that it is executed on a smart contract does not mean it is safe as we saw that before on etherdelta example so it still does not make sense. We should see the team as well.

Nothing is safe, even the biggest of the exchanges, stories such as Mt. Gox shows us. We always suggest to use Ledger or at least MetaMask, you are also welcome to check our github: https://github.com/bitox-exchange. We do understand your caution, but we hope to earn your trust with time.

Yeah, pretty simple and not bad for a start. Trustworthy is a part of it and security is another part. At this stage of cryptocurrency, I believe everyone is trying to stay very careful so as not to be scooped of their little asset.

It is good that we are having decentralized exchanges as this is really what we are all looking forward to in the long run and not just all these centralized exchanges that can rip you off anytime but at the same time, it seems Dex are not really giving that vibes like they are ready for the real world.

Well said! We definitely see room for improvement, especially with UI. For anyone not familiar with ED it's a bit of a hassle. Btw, we reached 30k in telegram and 32k in Twitter.

It is nice that we are having multiple partly decentralized exchange coming up regularly like this. This is a good sign of the disruptions and better service that would be experienced in trading and exchange of cryptocurrency in the future

I have an question

I wanna sell some tokens in my etherwallet.

About depositing token, the site says "To deposit, use the Deposit form in the upper left. Enter the amount you want to deposit and press the 'Deposit' button."

But I can't find Deposit button. is it near Price chart or Order book or something?

or Do I have to click Import account and put my etherwallet address and private key?

Seeing decentralized exchanges evolving and more coming up will really be a good thing for the community. I hope they will be able to keep up with the growth in the community and the aspect of security anyway since that was like the main issue most of the time with Etherdelta. Fortunately, if this is one thing that is out of the show, it should be a good start for decentralized exchanges and the more the merrier.

Yes, these decentralized exchanges may enforce the fall of dominance of most other exchanges as they might see a differences in their trading volume. I also wish for more decentralized exchanges and more decentralized services everywhere.

Hello, thank you for your interest. First, you need to either import your account (with account and private key) or a better option would be to transfer your tokens into your account with MetaMask and use it that way.. Make sure you are logged in with Metamask, then open our website bitox.io. In the left drop down menu select token you would like to trade. You will see your tokens under "wallet", in order to trade them, type amount and press "deposit" and confirm pop-up in MetaMask. Wait until your transaction is confirmed (a tip - higher gas price, which you can set in Account menu, will speed up transaction confirmation).
Now you have your tokens at Bitox.io smart contract and you can trade them. Set "new order" and again confirm your transaction with MetaMask.

Once you have completed few trades, you will get familiar with the way it works.

A fabulous tip indeed, I am somebody who supports privacy coins and because of KYC I stay away from those exchanges as much as humanly possible. If you listed the top 10 privacy projects right now imo, I believe you would get more volume from these coins than listing other coins. In any case cool to see another DEX being set up, they are the future :).

I wouldn't say that the exchange can not succeed. But he has a really valid point about the 0x protocol. I would too recommend to build your platform on top of their protocol. I'm sure it is challenging, but you could be one of the 1st to do so.

Participated in the IonChain airdrop and will try out your distribution function. The service you are offering is really great. It saves a lot of gas. I will join the Bitox airdrop too later.

Of course, we are ironing few issues here and there, but it does work.
We are preparing to advertise airdrop service to the wider audience, have a landing page (being develop as we speak) with separate pages for airdrops, exchange, etc.

I imported my mew account with private keys. How do exchange MDTK to Eth?

choose MDTK token from the left token menu, then press deposit. After confirmation on blockchain, you will see MDTK token balance. You can either sell to existing buy order or create a new sell order.

I like this project, a decentralized ether pair exchange. It is straight and simple and I was part of their just concluded airdrop. Thanks to bitox team for the good work so far.

Is this another fork ED? in my opinion too many of them have become recently, is not it time to do something really new?

Indeed we used ED engine but UI was redesigned along with backend and frontend. We are developing airdrop platform too. You will be able claim your tokens, advertise tokens and even distribute them. All in one place!

The exchange is very similar to the well-known Etherdelta exchange, but for me personally the disadvantage is that there are still no large volumes of trades on the stock exchange. As soon as there are large amounts of crypto currency on the exchange, then I will probably start using it.

At the moment both airdrop and exchange listings are completely free. We plan to implement fees which will be charged in BITOX tokens later this year.

Correct, upon inspection it looks like Etherdelta but they're not denying that they have similarities. However, just like you I will also be cautious. No offence to the OP, but I'm not willing to try new exchanges right now but i will keep tab and see how Bitox.io will do in the next coming months, specially if we go on another bull cycle.

Our utility token is trading on graviex and ddex.

I am not too sure that Btox.io will be able to match the IDEX Exchange, it is true that now IDEX Exchange is not very good in the eyes of traders. some of the coins listed on these exchangers are mostly dead coins and without trading volume, but even now the development of Bitox.io is not very good either.

This is probably a Centralized + decentralized exchange.  They get hacked too... so don't be too confident. 
Do you have requirements or standards for listing new coin or you just list them  as they come

I really have nothing bad against your exchange, but explain to me how it differs from hundreds of others? Why produce countless number of similar exchanges? I understand that you want to grab your little pile of cake, but there are so many exchanges that cryptocurrency market volatility is simply not enough to cover so many new exchanges.

We are trying to achieve airdrop and DEX platform. Basically, you can browse latest airdrops (airdrops.bitox.io) and trade them in one place (exchange.bitox.io). We believe there is a large market of airdrops, but no one has done something before.

Our exchange is completely decentralized. Even if our website goes down, smart contract is there and you can even withdraw your funds by interacting with smart contract

This what we've looking for but, how about the fees? It will be stay low or something will change cause that is a big thing we consider as an investor and do a simple trader.

For the numbers of decentralized exchange, we've looking for an exchange that will have justification, proper liquidity and so the volume. Hope this exchange will show something great in order to attack more traders.

As far as I see, many of airdrops doesn't have the price, and many of them don't have a market and still at the mew wallet without knowing the future of each airdrop. And if you can collaborate with the developer and you can make a deal with them, I guess the airdrop will rise, and the project will continue because they can see the airdrop can get a new price after it buried for a long time.

It has a similarity with fork and etherdelta when I saw the interface platform.
Honestly it is very seldom for me to use decentralized exchange(DEX), and I think all bounty
project that are using DEX are giving good payment rewards to their participants, base on
my experienced anyway.

Some people will still come here and say that they need more decentralized exchanges , but funny thing is that these people never register in any of these decentralized exchanges, they just come here to say rubbish. For me, I don't think we need any, cause the ones we have now are still struggling to survive. There are lots of exchanges in this market now, many of them, and sadly they are all struggling and that's why most of them have started faking their volumes to make traders feel like they are doing pretty fine while they are not. But luck is different for everyone, this one might turn out to be a success.

There are hundreds of exchange, so if this exchange has to be popular then it has to provide good service to investors, so that it can gain their confidence. Success will depend on investors satisfaction.

I opened your website in my mobile phone. Seems laggy on my phone. Though the layout is just simple, but the important thing here is how much security your exchange is offering? As you can see, hackers nowadays are easily entering crypto exchanges. Even if it is a new exchange, promoting it and building a good reputation is very significant to start with.

It's a bit laggy, UI is good but the speed should be improve.

We have a lot of decentralized exchange in the space but I'm not seeing they are having great volume, hopefully you can develop your exchange and you can attract more traders.

Bull run is coming or maybe here, so you should prepare for that by improving your site.

Since the listing is still free on your platform, the possibility of listing crap tokens is high. This is the reason why most DEXs are dying because of too much crap tokens that are dying on their platform once the pump and dump is over. So how are you going to tackle this common problem in your Dex?

I like decentralized exchange except for Etherdelta/Forkdelta, Mercatox, and others. And for this one(Bitox.io) the site
platform is not secure dude, meaning if I continue to open the website its possible that this exchange can harm my computer
desktop, so I never continue to open it.
to open it, I don't want to put risk my desktop because of this only.
