According to my opinion, the Alternate cryptocurrencies Price will down for a while because ETH and BTC getting strength in this month. If we look at the depth market in all exchanges, especially Altcoins/ETH or Altcoins/BTC, you will see the contrast, supply and demand is not equal. Most of people converted their coins to ETH and BTC.

This is already a tradition in altcoin trading, the price will be against the rise of Bitcoin and ETH.
it's time to buy cheaply and prepare for the up front.
need the courage to get a low price, then enjoy a 20% profit in the near future.

it is clear when BTC rais or fall we expect to effect on other coins. before buying any coin check the BTC status for be aware of some damages like this. if you can analysis BTC price, you can trade in the safe mod.

This case is really normal and it'll not last too long. IMO I think it'll take about 1 month and after that when BTC and ETH price increased to the peak price, it'll be the time for altcoins to rise back.

The situation is pretty normal, lets just hope and support every token be have a good future when it comes to value, as many are depending on their token value especially the tokens which are coming from the bounties and airdrops.

Prices of altcoins is predicted to slow down, as people tend to convert their money into ETH / BTC then to FIAT currency, in fact it is their harvesting period, as we have previous slow downs of all cryptocurrency prices, remember during 2017 where it is above 15k usd each bitcoin, a major loss to the holders and those who buy the currency, anyway its a normal moves to the market.

Because number of altcoins are available in the market but many good altcoins are growing fastly so shitcoins are not survive in all the time. Still many potential altcoins are raise in the Crypto market I think you are not understand the Crypto platform road map it is move to the right way.

This is normal when it comes to cryptocurrency markets, but then again, if we think that the tokens or altcoins we hold is a good coin and has future, why try not to worry about the recent ups and downs of altcoins prices, a lot of traders nowadays converting their altcoins into BTC or ETH for the chance to make a profit, now as long as all altcoins are tradable to this main currencies, then we should not be worry about this, this is just a tradition long time ago.

not all altcoin decreases as bitcoin and ethereum increase. all of that has been proven in some time ago when bitcoin rises then the market turns to average green.

ETH is an altcoin so basically not all altcoins will go down, but if bitcoin continues to soar high in the coming weeks for sure altcoins may stop to pump because of FOMO on bitcoin. Altcoin prices will be downwards and sometimes upwards, this changes may depend on how Bitcoin is rated or how much it will grow or how big it will dropped, it is like natural phenomenon on Bitcoin and other coin price cycle.

This is a fairly common situation for market, cause when BTC and ETH price increases people prefer to buy stable coins from first 10, and they sold ( or don't buy) altcoins and that's happening again and again. After seller will sell BTC or ETH they try to buy some altcoins cause they can give much more profit. In some time I think about 1 week will see how altcoins go pump. But in general some good alcoins can win the race from not so good alcoins. I bought one alt from 400 th palce and now tthey go down to 700th so that was not a good choice. Don't buy all, do your research before investing. Now some good altcons still undervalued.

It's been like this even before. And it is normal. If ever altcoins go down again just go buy more and hold it until it becomes profitable again. We have nothing to fear here. Just make sure you invest money in altcoins that have a future like XRP. Focus on coins that have a small price.

To really benefit by increacing your satoshi or eth valuation you must time btc dominance cycles correctly.

If BTC dominance is very high it's the correct time to invest in alts.

As ALT dominance grows the strategy is to take profit into BTC.

thats all the statement i was looking for . If it was only for bitcoin that was going up I would have agreed but ethereum rise had always helped other altcoin mostly coin from ethereum blockchain.

There is nothing surprising in that altcoin is falling and BTC and ETH are rising. This phenomenon is temporary, this has already happened.

That is usually expected and is a wise way most traders use to make huge profits during such bull runs.Sell off and join the bull.However,some altcoins defy such odds especially when there is good news hovering around such coins.Investors want to pick them up at cheaper prices before it is too late.

Mostly if bitcoin is pumping, some altcoins are dumping but this situation is different now simply because some altcoins are now following the trend of bitcoin especially with ETH which is also an altcoin. Reading chart is ok but I think its hard use it in this kind of market.

For some reason I think altcoins don't follow to the BTC now. Because yesterday when BTC went up most of alts, especially from 300-700th places went down, maybe people sold it and tried to buy BTC before 10 000, but unfortunately BTC couldn't get 10 Grand. I really hoped that BTC can get 10 000 yesterday. I think that would be very important sign for all market, not just for traders but for the people too. When they will see how BTC rising again they believe in crypto and won't think that crypto is a scam. 

I think this situation is normal. Because the trading will be in high and low prices.  So if the prices is down, it is a good time to buy the coin. Then sell it when the price is high.

BTC is greatly affect the price of Altcoin others. from my observations so far when BTC up altcoin also rises. and the problem between market selling and buying market is not balanced. it's common because everyone wants a sizeable profit. so it takes precision and also courage to decide which Coin we want to buy.

If bitcoin price goes down so does altcoin price too. Some coins maybe not affected by the down of bitcoin price but majority of all the altcoins that once bitcoin price declined , altcoins will follow.

I have a contrary view. It has been observed that other coins move along with bitcoin and ETH and not opposite. A fall in bitcoin will mean a fall in almost all other coins. Therefore market watch will indicate that the altcoins will soon follow. Check coinmarketcap.com to confirm this movement.

Only the top ten coin has the prospect of improving. while the coin is new and can be said to be coin with low transaction volume then it will be very difficult to compete. Some popular coins like Etherum, Ripple and EOS can then be enough to keep up with the Bitcoin price movement. It can be said that only a few coins can survive and most coins will disappear.

You have incorrect understanding about the bitcoin and ethereum as I got your point mate. Please do not invest you fund on all the cryptos as like that instead think well when we will find the bitcoin and ethereum can go bigger in the market.
Maximum it takes 5 months from now right to see the peak value both this coin.

Prices for altcoins will decrease, then rise, this is a natural process. The main question is how to determine the right time to purchase a good altcoin.

Seems like you aren't get used to volatileness of bitcoin and other coins as well.For now we are seeing reds everywhere and cap goes down and prices as well but altcoin do head the same trend with btc. Accumulation phase would begin ones again before the bull run which market is just shaking of weak hands. Just hold up as long you didn't sell off your balance or coins it wont be considered as a loss.

There is a general tendency for you to realize that if the exchange rate of BTC and ETH increases, the exchange rate of altcoins will fall sharply because investors will exchange from altcoins to BTC and ETH to hold to profit from Raising the exchange rate of BTC and ETH. So if you are keeping altcoins then consider switching to ETH or USDT to wait then evaluate the market and make an investment decision.

It is not a natural process because altcoins price is fixed in supply, demand and marketcap so we should choose the right platform it will down in sometimes but again this will fastly pump in the market. If you're an investor and you want to get profits, and I suppose that any investor wants that then you need to be a risk taker, this is why we are in this market, if I wanted very low gains I will invest in stocks or in bonds, but if I were to do that the chances of improving my way of life in a significant way will be very low that is why I'm willing to take the risk with bitcoin and some altcoins.

Correlation is, but not always, and when the bitcoin and ether are rising, the market will go up as a whole and this will also affect positively on the violas.

I dont know about down, may be i am lucky, but i see a lot of coins doing very good last days. Sometimes i think somebody wants us to think everything is going down to make everything skyrocketing up.

Yes altcoin market iis down, I agree with you. You see the coinmarketcap. For a few months ago, the market too many down. Bitcoin price is low. Altcoin prices are low in all. But now it is increasing. Hopefully more will grow.

This situation is normal and always happening from the start, a lot of factors why this is happening, but eventually if we look at the on the previous history, the same pattern goes on., which is not surprising to me, a few months ago, all coins are so high in prices, then lately this year it goes down almost 60% in fall of prices, ive find it hard to recover the losses but i tried to understand that this is not permanent, and all things are just ordinary, we just hope everything will be normalized later on.

This happens usually in the cryptomarket, once the big coins such as bitcoin and eth price goes high automatically the some of the altcoins price goes up and some down. This is the tradition in the crypto market. Due demand in supply also the altcoin market goes down. Some people are afraid to invest in small coins that is altcoins is also makes market down. When the price is low use this time to buy altcoins, invest in altcoins. Hold the coins for future will give more benefits.

Not really true as altcoins general reflect the movement to the coin they're paired with. Sure there might be a 1-2% difference, but almost always if BTC or ETH rise then so will the altcoins. Often the altcoins are far more volatile and usually rise greater and fall much farther than the other coins in terms of percentage.

The price of all coins is now less. Altcoin are less expensive. You see the coinmarketcap. The market is now less. Bitcoin is the father of all altcoins. Bitcoin price is low. So all the prices of altcoin will be low, it is normal. But I think the prices will rise after some days. The prices is low, Sc i am trading some altcoin.

The price of all altcoins are very low now. Altcoins prices are also affected by bitcoin price. So growth of altcoins depends on bitcoin price. So choose the high potential and promising coins from the coinmarketcap. Invest on those coins and hold the coins for long term. Once the price will reach high you can sell and gain more profit. Till that we have to wait with patience.

Altcoin prices will start to recover only when ethereum gains strong forward momentum. Until then we cannot expect big growth with altcoins even when the bitcoin grows high. This is my personal prediction based on the market price variation happening with altcoins with dependence to the ethereum.

General rules of the market affect all. It is a normal matter to create freshness and balance. But the bitcoin trend is still not optimistic at this time. and it is still not out of the market for FUDs. Therefore, it is impossible to determine the up / down trend of altcoin and bitcoin. :-[

When it is gling down and going up, falling and rising market value we still need to be positive like this guy right here. When every movement change there will always be good outcome so, do not think of the negative results because when its going up is good but to be true once it is fallen some people go panic here. Keep in mind that when you lost you invesments go HOLD or should I say HODL and wait for good results to be made. When you invest low you well wait to rise and that is good results
