Title: Need help with cryptsy
Post by: billharris on December 01, 2013, 03:45:57 AM
okay, so i've successfully transferred one litecoin into cryptsy.  i want to try my hand with playing pump coins.  i realize that most of them will probably fail.  i'm riding waves and i have a strategy in mind.  the problem is that i don't understand the process of selling on cryptsy.  i setup a sell order for my single litecoin to buy a fraction of bitcoin.  but the order just sits there and it's not going through.  on btc-e the transactions are instantaneous.  what am i missing?  what do i need to do to make a buy or sell order go through to completion?  thanks guys!

If you set a sell order at/below the highest bid, it will go through. Crypsty's engine is quite slow right now, but it runs no differently than BTC-E. It also has much less liquidity.
