Title: Has anyone successfully funded BTC-e with USD? If so how? Post by: superdork on December 01, 2013, 05:41:53 AM Hey, just looking for some advice. I would like to be able to get some cash into there and take advantage of the lower buy rates for BTC but when I look at their funding options, nothing looks all that appealing.
here are their options: Wire transfers that may take a while to clear (and who knows if the prices jumps in the meantime and I would have been better buying thru localbitcoins or coinbase) OKpay - looks like the best option, but how do I fund OKpay? doesn't seem very USD friendly.... maybe I am missing something here. and there are fees. interkassa- never heard of it, website is not in english perfect money- more bank transfers and fess, money gram (which rapes you in fees) egopay- seems like a pain in the ass. still need to fund it thru something else, payza.... seems like a bunch of fees and hassle OR.... maybe their is some other way to convert to BTC or LTC and then fund with that, but the whole point is that I want to buy BTC at their rates so if I convert somewhere else I don't get that.... too bad that it isn't easier to use btc yet. anyone? There was a big dip there last night and a chance to buy coins at about $200-300 below where gox has been. THose with USD in there could take advantage. I made one on 14 November and I'm still waiting, no reply from support either other than their "You've got ONE hour to reply before we automatically close this ticket" emails. Contacted their middle-man service "Mayzus Financial Services Ltd" who said they processed the payment. I'm currently waiting for my bank to finish doing a trace (which I had to pay for) to see where the money is at - but they probably won't tell me anything I don't already know.
