They have chosen to partner with Lamassu as a manufacturer for various reasons--mostly cost-efficicency. The Cooperative supports Bitcoin adoption, so if you convince a venue to accept Bitcoin, we might get you an ATM, and Quadriga will split the profits with you. Rates will be very competitive by ATM market rates so far.

It will be also good PR move from them to attract attention to the business and Bitcoin customers. You can also just take the POS and run the fiat conversion in the back end yourself, given that it's open source. |
