Worst case someone goes and sells $1,000,000 in bitcoin and pays 35% in taxes on it. They sold drugs to earn that, but could easily say they were an early investor. As long as the man gets their dues they won't care. 35% max taxes is far better then 50%.

It's not just the tax which is btw higher then 50% in some places. The bigger issue is this isn't anonymous in any way shape or form. You are in a bank on camera exchanging 500,000. Good luck both inside and after walking out.
