Title: [WTS] Powercolor 6850
Post by: thok422 on December 02, 2013, 10:00:09 PM
I've got a working, good condition 6850 that I replaced with an Nvidia card for my gaming rig. If anyone is interested, I'll hear offers. BTC requested, and I'll cover US shipping.

It's this model.

I have a higher offer pending, but we're having issues working it out.

Litecoin wiki says it should punch in 220 KH/s. I can upload a picture if you would really like it, but the model is the Powercolor one in the link. Got it from Newegg, good condition.

As an ex-6850 owner I can confirm hash rate.

I have a 6850 at 260KH/s OCed, with two other cards in the tower (Antec 1200 V3). 6850s are a good buy used. (For reference, that is at 915 core, 1000 mem, and 19 intensity. I could probably downclock the memory at least 100, however, I don't pay for the electric, and the heat is welcome right now, so I'm not going to.)

Anyways, the offer fell through, BTC is going for 60% of what it was when I originally made the offer, so....

You're welcome, it's the least I can do. Also, just on a whim, I downclocked the 6850 memory to 850MHz(3400MHz effective) and it didn't hurt my scrypt speeds with the core at 915MHz.

Barts just has a lot of memory bandwidth for the amount of processing power it has.
