Bitcoin has not been mined with GPU for a long time. You can mine with GPU altcoins and then change them to bitcoins. But this business is no longer profitable. Now there are constantly emerging asics that capture algorithms. Then there are more proficient asics that kill the previous asics. So will constantly. This business requires high costs and constant modernization of equipment. Are you ready?

I doubt you'll be buying Antminer S9. In order to calculate the profitability of GPU or asic in the network there are calculators. You can calculate the profitability of any equipment on any algorithm. But only you have to subtract a minimum of 20%. Profitability is constantly decreasing.

Graphic cards or GPU (Graphics processing unit) can be used to mine ethereum not bitcoin.
Bitcoin is in different algorithm so you need to mine it with CPU (computer processing unit), common computer doesn't have enough computing so specially designed ASIC miner should be used to mine bitcoin these days due to high difficulty.

By the way https://www.techradar.com/news/best-mining-gpu could help you..

You can also use this mining calculator to figure out your break even point https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc

(Since you seem no interested by some of my answer, I changed that to smaller font)

Which graphic card can be used for bitcoin mining?

There are pools you can mine altcoins with your graphic card (GPU) and either you convert those into Bitcoin whenever you want, either the pool does that automatically for you.
There is a special board for altcoin mining (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0) and you can find there more info.
Basically it depends what altcoin you want to mine, some go better with certain cards, some with another.

Something very important to think of, whether you buy Bitcoin ASIC and mine Bitcoin or a GPU and mine altcoins is the price of electricity. Because if it's bigger than certain values it's cheaper to buy coins than mine them.

If you want to know an estimation how long to have 1 BTC profit you can use sites like https://www.cryptocompare.com and fill in the specs and your electricity cost and you'll see.

It is not efficient to mine Bitcoin using a GPU, as ASIC chips are way more powerful at solving SHA-256d and therefore outperform GPUs. So, the answer is none, you would rather use a GPU for coins using different mining algorithm, for example ethash.

Best card for mining bitcoin is Bitmains GPU named ASIC Antminer S9
The Antminer S9 is not a Graphics processing unit but rather an ASIC chip which stands for application specific integrated circuit.

I am planning to mine Ethereum through GPU, thinking of 1070ti variant of 8 GB. Electricity price here is moderate and may reach ROI in 8-10 months hopefully.

the latest is the better, more power more but latest graphic card is more efficient because power consumed by the machine will be decrease with same gigahertz reading and faster process, you need also a powerful and very fast internet connection,

Your jokes miner is a bit outdated  ;D.

...... you need also a powerful and very fast internet connection,

This is one of the most annoying things when people start giving advice about mining, NO!!!! You don't need a fast internet connection to mine BTC.

No im thinking if buying that high cost quipment will that give me a good profit or not and i dont know how many days it will take to earn 1 bitcoin.

My advice would be to stay out of this and do a bit of research first.

You don't make your plan on how long it's going to take you to mine one BTC as probably you will never mine one with a single miner. You need to first calculate how much is going to cost you to run that miner, the price of the miner, how long to ROI and then comes the profit.

Nobody here has a crystal ball to know how much you pay for electricity, how much you plan to invest rather provide some info or do the research based on the links above by yourself.

Graphics card/GPU are not worth it to be use for Bitcoin mining anymore because there are already more faster and energy efficient hardwares that can produce more hash rate than GPUs right now like ASIC miners. If you will go for a GPU mining rig then better to mine other cryptocurrency that doesn't use sha-256 algorithm this is also the algorithm that Bitcoin uses. But if you will mine Bitcoin it is recommended to just buy antminer s9 which is one of the best right now because it consumes less electricity compared to others, and the firmware is not outdated.

Antminer s9 is not a GPU, it an ASIC miner, dedicated just for mining cryptocurrency unlike GPUs they can be used for gaming pc builds and also for mining cryptocurrencies.
you need also a powerful and very fast internet connection,
Mining cryptocurrency doesn't require very fast internet connection and it doesn't matter how fast it is because it won't affect the speed of your mining, what you only need is a stable one.

Bitmain have already an Asic Miner Z9 but this unit is not so powerful as the GPU's. Also the bitmain released Asic Miner E3 and this was considered to be the most powerful and Efficient EtHash ASIC Miner according to them. Also according to bitmain the specs of the said miner are the following:

Hashing algorithm: EtHash(Ethash is the proof-of-work function in Ethereum-based blockchain currencies)
Power consumption: 800W
Hashrate: 180MH/s( These are the most conservative estimates)

But if you are really looking at GPU I will suggest two GPU that is very powerful in mining bitcoin and ethereum.

1. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070
Core Clock: 1,506MHz | Memory: 8GB GDDR5 | Memory Clock: 8Gbps | Power Connectors: 1 x 6-pin | Power Draw: 150W | Outputs: 3 x DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x HDMI 2.0, DL-DVI

2. 2. AMD Radeon RX580
Core Clock: 1,257MHz | Memory: 8GB GDDR5 | Memory Clock: 8Gbps | Power Connectors: 1x 8-pin, 1 x 6-pin | Power Draw: 185W | Outputs: 1 DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x HDMI 2.0

The Nvidia uses low power but with a high hash rate while the AMD is considered a mining winner and does not easily overheat due to its cooling system.

mining bitcoin with GPU will be less effective. if you mine with GPU, your rival is asic users.
you cannot beat asic with GPU. you will need asic to mine bitcoin effectively.

I recommend you to use Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060.
GTX 1060 has all the potential to bring good mining results, unfortunately, the GTX 1060 3GB version does not work with Ethereal. As you probably know, 3GB GPU can no longer store DAG files, which continue to grow in size with each new DAG period. GTX 1060 6GB has a good clockspeed frequency, but the real fun begins with overclocking. This GPU has tremendous overclocking potential that produces hashrate performance better than ever.

Let's have a look at the hashrate of 1 Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 at stock settings: https://1stminingrig.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-mining-performance-review/

"Ethereum hashrate on stock settings is 19 Mh/s with a power consumption of 100W. Card’s working temperature is 68C (154.4 F)." now if you go and look at a mining calculator and put in 19 Mh/s then you aren't going to be making much of a profit if any at all. When using it for Bitcoin you'll probably be losing money due to electricity costs and degrading a graphics card which could be put to good use for other things.

Just one harsh truth I learned over time - if you buy coins with the money you otherwise will use to buy mining equipment and maintain your mining project.
Then hold it for some time 2 years+ then, in the end, you should earn more than you would via direct solo mining.
When you are simply planning to use one graphics card/ASIC to mine then it is no longer worth the time/effort/money IMO.

No graphics card is going to work to mine any amount of bitcoin which is going to be profitable, as the market has been takenover by ASIC miners from companies such as bitmain. If you want to mine with your GPU, you're going to have to mine an altcoin which is still going to be profitable (and I would stick with that, as ASIC miners are still a pretty shaky area unless you have dirt cheap power)

So yeah, gpus can only be used on altcoins now bud.

A GPU is not suitable for bitcoin mining on PC, as it is better to have a good processor like intel i7, intel i9 etc. But it is best to buy a special device - miner, specially designed just for this, and is much more efficient and cheaper comparing with a good CPU.
With the help of a video card you can mine Ethereum. The best price ratio for AMD RX470 video card and newer. More powerful variations don't meet the money spendings.
Take into account, that mining video card lifetime is only 6-12 month

Dont forget, that ETH soon will change its protocol and your GPU will turn into a great gaming PC
