Title: altcoin payment processor Post by: poblico on December 03, 2013, 04:19:19 PM Is anyone working on a payment processor for alt coins(like bitpay)?
What would be the challenges in implementing such a system? I assume choosing the "right" coins will be an important decision to make in this case. Would love to get some comments and ideas about that. ::) Title: Re: altcoin payment processor Post by: Dreamweaver on December 03, 2013, 04:44:24 PM I think there's already such a service. I haven't used it since I'm not a merchant, but I think its worth checking out.

This is a crypto only payment processor they do not pay FIAT to the merchants. What would be the challenges with paying FIAT on a daily basis to merchants? (other then the obvious reason of absorbing the volatility risk and having a pool of FIAT) Title: Re: altcoin payment processor Post by: defaced on December 03, 2013, 05:20:45 PM Franko was just added to coinpayments.net!

Don't expect to start such a payment processor company without having atleast three lawyers who know the financial implications of bank and money regulations, on a global scale of course. The IT-part is easy compared to that. |
