I guessed the newbie forum should be able to handle all sorts of discussions since it's the only place new people are allowed to post. ;-) I started mining some LTC for the fun of it, but as with bitcoin the recent peak probably makes it a bad time to invest. I also found Curecoin, Gridcoin and Primecoin interesting because of their whole approach to utilise the computer power for goodness. With Primecoin I just didn't find it convincing enough. E.g. what is the usefulness in discovering new Cunningham prime number chains. |
