Hi all,

I'm obviously new here and I have about $30k to invest so what hardware should I buy?

Howdy, I'm new as well-- first post. IMHO it would be better to buy and with half of what you can afford to lose, but here's a good start for LTC and scrypt-based mining: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

Cheers and good luck.

What a good question.  I anxiously await to here from others on the matter.  I'd say something that you have done your homework on is the best bet.

This is not something you want to rush into, you will want to research the company the miner and calculate your potential profit over time for starters in my opinion.

The better hardware is for preorder only, this is the problem. Also some manufacturers did not proved yet they can deliver (and without delays)
