Why not elect a few trusted members to be the ones who update someones rep and risk assessment. In exchange, we tip them. Anyone we can trust to make a list, check it twice, gunna find out whos naughty or nice?

Im aware of WOT, but Im talking about these noobs who are unaware. Even if they can use bitcoin otc, they likely wont hear about it. We should just have a website, with a few good people and a list. The way you get on the list, confirmed feedback. Possibly way to enforce that is for in the case of a item trade, get a copy of the tracking number from the sender. It is hard to use, I took an hour to configure my user in jabber with GPG in order to put a fucking offer which eventually nobody saw. Right now a few of the old timers here and I are working on making a site that will act as an official feedback system. Will have more info in a day or so as we work out how this is going to be implemented. If not, create one so others & I can subscribe to it as for updates on your guy's plan. My programming knowledge caps out at the TI-83, but it is desperately needed and I would be happy to help in any meager way I can. How about implementing the feedback portion from bitmarket into bitcointalk? Since both forums are running on SMF, it has to be easy to implement. That's not a proper response mate.. Anyways, SMF is enough to start a small operation, I agree with the lack of moderators.. Title: Re: Loan request Post by: CentroniX on September 13, 2011, 02:56:02 PM Ben screwed me over for $70USD. Wanted to buy some BTC, "accidently" sent me an eCheck via PayPal. He talked me in to sending half the BTC in good faith (which I should have known better) and the other half when the check cleared. Guess what? Check bounced, and he's never responded to one of my PMs or e-mails.
I learned my lesson, but unfortunately this is all going to catch up with Ben in the end... A quick Google search shows someone is already gathering info on him: Code: Real Name: Ben Hayden http://pastebin.com/BhathP7s (http://pastebin.com/BhathP7s) Title: Re: Loan request Post by: pekv2 on September 13, 2011, 03:58:27 PM I call for who ever lives near him, it is black jack time. A good beating should come to all scammers, beat the breaks off all them. Nothing erks me more than seeing a photo of a scammer.
