Title: GBP with OKPay
Post by: miztaziggy on December 04, 2013, 08:10:30 PM
Up until earlier this week, it was possible to send GBP to OKPay and then transfer that to BTC-e or wherever.

Right now, when selecting GBP in the wire transfer funding option, it comes up with the following tick box requiring confirmation:

Quote
I hereby confirm that will not use the funds for purchasing or exchanging crypto-currencies

Errr.....wtf?

Is this the UK banks cracking down on BTC even harder?

Yep just hit same warning !

I would not even have seen it if i had just send my money as usual as it only shows if you need to see the deposit bank details which i don't usually any more.

Also makes me wonder , if you already have the deposit banks details then you don't actually need to tick the box so does that mean you have not made the agreement and therefore it does not apply ? and also why ONLY GBP ?
