Title: Re: What is exactly SegWit?

Segwit, formerly called segragated witness, is an advanced bitcoin protocol that enables arbitrary data to be stored on a blockchain. This is a powerful thing, because it essentially opens up the possibility to have smart-contracts, which allows for things like the lightning network and decentralized exchanges.

It also may have extensive use in the near future when Artificial Intelligence begins to generate smart-contract decentralized deep neural network weight and sigmoid calculations, in order to expand its (A.I.'s) unquenchable thirst for computational power.

SegWit or segregated witness can limit the size of the blockchain, It is a solution to the scalabilty problem of BItcoin. It helps to reduce the resistance to transaction processes.

Seems like lightning network is gonna be a real thing for BTC. Thanks a lot for sharing. Had very little knowledge about it. Hope lightening network will make BTC even better.

SegWit is the process by which the block size limit on a blockchain is increased by removing signature data from Bitcoin transactions. Hence, Segregated Witness in short, means to separate transaction signatures. The concept of SegWit was formulated by Dr. Pieter Wuille. Segregated witness was activated in august 24 2018 .

Generally, segwit is known as segregated witness. In short which means to separate transaction signatures. It is a procedure through which the block size limit on a blockchain is increased by discarding signature data from bitcoin transactions. This is all I can tell you about segwit.

Segwit is the short form of segragated witness. This is an advanced bitcoin protocol that helps to store data in blockchain in a despotic manner. Artificial Intelligence is used here and more and more amazing features will be invented in future hopefully.
SegWit has been deploying to the bitcoin blockchain to support the OFF-chain development process. There is a lot of proposal working at the off-chain scalability solution to the bitcoin but the best candidate and it will be tested in litecoin will be only lightning network. SegWit helps lightning network to be applied in the bitcoin and litecoin blockchain.

It will decrease the feel related to bitcoin transactions
