Title: Buying a Dog
Post by: Jasper Dudong on May 06, 2018, 02:06:50 PM
I am planning to buy a pet dog. What is the best breed to buy? My friends told me that it is best for me to have a Labrador or Pitbull coz I am big. Any other suggestions?

Before I buy a dog I would inform myself about it so I know what to expect. A dog needs a lot of time, love and patience.

I suggest to buy/maintain Akita Inu dog.
Akita inu is one type of Japanese breed dog. This dog is large, has great hunting ability. Therefore, this type of dog is often used as a reliable hunting dog. This dog has a balance and proportion of a good body and sturdy build. This dog's nature is calm, submissive, faithful and easy to teach. Akita Inu has an instinct as a guard dog and always tries to protect her family from any threat. This dog is also a dog that is loyal, intelligent and has a discriminating nature.

A dog is considered as a man’n bestfriend so I definitely recommend you to buy a dog because it can take away all your loneliness in life especially when you’re alone. A dog knows how to show compassion and love to their owners. Feed them food and love and they will love you forever until your or its last breathe.

consider adopting a dog instead of buying, you will be saving a life. that in itself has value greater than the dog's breed.

Dont' buy a dog if you're not ready to commit. Don't buy if the idea of abandoning it someday is not repellent to you

If large, you can still consider several large breeds of dogs: Newfoundland, Sembern, German Shepherd, Moscow watchdog, Doberman. But all these breeds of dogs are different in character. You need to decide for yourself which one is right for you.

It's not important if what kind of dog you will going to buy because eventually it will become your bestfriend. Honestly dogs are so bubbly it can take away all your sadness and stress, you can be happy with your dog. It's like your baby in short you can practice your parenthood to a dog because dogs needs to be care and love too.

Before buying a dog, you would need to think about why you really want a dog and how committed are you to having one. Getting a dog isn't as simple as just buying one. You have to make sure that they are updated with all their shots. You have to make sure that you have enough financially to provide your dog (food, clean water, a good shelter, etc.) and extra for when you need to take them to the vet. or if they get sick. For big dogs, you need to make sure that you have enough room in your home for them to move around and you will need to take them out for exercise regularly. I suggest that you research about the dog breeds that interest you and see if you are a good fit before getting one.

Do your research, read info about different breeds, its not only the look that matters, you need a dog who`s character is compatible with yours........
Look how you live, how many time do you have. Some dogs need a lot of space and do better on a farm. Other dogs dont care if the live in an appartment. What are you expectations?  And very important: What can you give? A dog is for life, so take your time!  And at last but not at least: when you go for a puppy from some breed, go to a good, registrated breeder!

I do not like dogs, so I do not have any advice to you about what dogs are good and that you should buy. Instead of buying Dogs, I prefer to buy goats, I take care, I am a livestock. to be many .. and if again have intent, we can slaughter the goat and cook.

The first thing when you buy a dog you need to understand that that’s a responsibility.
But in terms witch brand to buy, do you have a house if yes then you can buy a big one, if a flat it’s better to buy smaller brand. And of course that’s not a cheap pet, you need to see and read witch brand you can afford. Special food, animal doctor all the injection and so on.
My favourite brand is Rottweilers they are very friendly with they family, but in the same time very protective and really good guards.

I suggest a labradoodle. (labrador/poodle mix, but get the full size one, they are the best ones, about the size of german shepherds)

They are incredibly smart, very playful, they come in all sizes (smallerones are not as smart), and they don't really shed. I have seen them in person both as puppies and full size, and they are cute as hell and awesome dogs.

Well purchasing a dog means you are getting yourself a baby! A friendly companion, a good pal to be when you are sad, a friend to play , a baby to take care of lol and a chewing off boss! I myself always in favor of having a dog but can't afford all those time that they need to be taken care of , cleaning rooms, petting them , as well as we also have to keep money budget into mind.!
If i ever get a chance to purchase one then i will go for golden retriever as they are friendly and can easily cope in any condition! As well as in the beginning have to hire a  dog trainer especially for the poo training haha. I hope you find the one you have been searching for and stick together as best pals for life (:

If you have acces to a large fields or woods a german shorthaired pointer is a great choice. This dogs are so smart and cunning (dont let them trick you), and they have a great contact with kids as well.

Getting a dog is a real responsibility though so a new dog owner should really consider the positives and negatives of such a commitment.

I would recommend adopting a mutt since, doing so, you will save a life. And they say mutts are healthier because they have much fewer chances of genetic disease.

Recently I adopted a kitten from a person in the local market and she has been helping me relax and laugh when I get home from the stressful workplace. She does make me do extra cleaning and stuff but the fact that I have saved a life makes me feel good.

I would go to an animal shelter, and see which dog you connect with.

Keep in mind that the bigger the dog, the more food it will eat, the more exercise it will need

Do you have a backyard? What is your climate like?
Do you travel often? Where will the dog stay when your away?

For anyone who wants to adopt a dog needs to select the right breed based on their living places and family situation, better got with friendly non agressive breeds if you are living with your family. I got a puppy in the past but it was died due to an unknown parasite attack so I never wanted to hold a new one. :(

You don't really need to spend money to buy a dog. There are lots of mixed-breed and stay dogs waiting for a home. You should adopt one of them.

My grandmother has this saying, "Feed a dog, kill a dog."  It's a little extreme, but the point is that dog's don't know when to stop eating.  As a result, I feed my dog healthier than I feed myself.

Anyways to the original poster, if you haven't checked out Mini Bernadoodles I'd recommend one if you're looking for a hypoallergenic, well tempered and medium/small sized.   My first dog was Bernadoodle and she was the best.  Relatively low maintenance, they just require a bit of activity each day, maybe two small daily walks (~15 mins).

You cannot say that Labrador is not cute when it is one of the cutest dogs.
Pomeranians are sweet but they have a lot of hair, and if you want to keep your dog into a house or an apartment this is a huge negative point that would make you think about it twice.

How about: Rather than purchasing a dog from a breeding kennel, you adopt an existing dog from a shelter?  It would be better to give a street dog a second chance at life.
Also, please know exactly what you're getting in to, living breathing pets aren't like digital neopets, they are extremely high maintenance and require lots of love, affection and care, please do not get a high maintenance pet if you aren't willing to accept the responsibility that accompanies owning one :)

Pets are far better They once forced us to ready to do as we are saying The demand for dogs is typically high in foreign countries They love dogs quite humans. The Pomeranians have a drag with the dog having an excessive amount of hair. Their fur is extremely shy If you touch it together with your hand, it'll stay there and if you combine it with our food you'll get infected with various diseases Therefore it's better to wear it in another place than in one's house.

You how people say: "For a man, a dog is a part of life. But for dog, man is a whole life".

Suggestion to those who is planning to buy or adopt a dog - think 100 times before you do that. If you have a little flat - don't get a dog. If you don't have much free time - don't get a dog. If you can't devote all your life to a dog - don't get a dog. Just don't betray the one who would really love you.

Husky is good choice...
Pitbull: "one master dog", Pitbull will only obey one person who is familiar and diligent in feeding, my husband ever had a Pitbull, and the pitbull was only obedient to my husband and not to me.

Personally id go with a corgi they look cute asf they are quite expensive though but they honestly like so cute and nice to have that would defo be my personal pick.

If you want to have this dog into an apartment then it would be a good choice.
If you are living outdoors then you might want to buy a bigger dog in order to let it be able to run around and not just sit under a tree shadow.

Siberian Husky is my favorite dog, by far!

I like Huskys too, they are great dogs. my parents had one when I was growing up. But it depends on where you live in my opinion on which dogs to get. If you live close to a nice park of forest, a husky can work. But if you live in the city center in an small apartment a Husky would be very miserable. They need to run and enjoy the outdoors.

Dogs is man closest friend in the animal kingdom. They can be used for many purpose like pet and security, so basically the purpose on which you want the dog determines the type of dog you will buy. You can’t buy a security dog like the bull dogs, pit bull etc as pet. There are dogs with highly violence breeds and such dogs it’s not advised to keep them at home without being caged. So you have to specify the purpose on which you want to buy the dog. Well considering what you said I will prefer the pit bull, the breeds are awesome

Labrador are awesome dogs, this is definitely a good choice, especially if you like to go outside a lot. I would be very careful with buying a Pitbull, if you don't get him as a puppey you never know how he was raised and what maybe happened to him. For me the risk would be just to high that he will snap and do something really bad.

The Samoyed dog has a very eye-catching appearance: snow-white coat, smiling face and black, smart eyes. It is the most beautiful kind of dog today. Samoyeds are very strong and fast. They are excellent guard dogs, but they are gentle and friendly. They never cause trouble, but can maintain their position. Samoyed dogs are naturally intelligent and absolutely loyal to their owners.

think about what you can do first. some dogs have adorable fluff, which feels comfortable while these fur may drop easily, esp, in some specific season. would you have the patience to bear it and clean its hair? some look cute even admirably stupid but they might do damage to your furniture, can you avoid your tantrum? or they'll poop casually at first, can you clean for them? some may get sick easily, can you afford the medicine...
think about all these questions and then decide whether buy a dog, please. ;)

The family is in the countryside, and the dog I have kept at home is a nursing home. I accidentally learned that the golden retriever is a dog breed. I really like it. I just do it. If you like large dogs, you can consider raising a Samoyed. Samoyed looks really beautiful. Its nickname is Smiling Angel, because it always looks smiling. But he also has the common problem of large dogs and has a lot of activity. If you don't have enough time to walk the dog, it will use the extra energy to demolish the house.
I hate dogs that has lots of activities because they will only ruin your house .

i would rather have a cat instead of having dog like that  ;D

Everyone has personal preferences and some people like to keep pets in their home and consider them as their friend. Personally i don't like to keep them as pet only because it take a lot to care about them and i don't have much time. Don't you think that mostly people who are alone or are old like to keep pets ?

Before you plan to get a dog, I hope you are ready for the many responsibilities that come with it especially at the early stages of its life. A dog unlike a cat requires a lot of attention, needs a place to play very well as well else it will be disturbing you all the time. The best thing, i always tell people, is to not but one dog, but two. So they can keep themselves company most of the time.

Buying a dog is not by getting a dog in your corner, you ask yourself this few questions: are you ready to spend quality with your dog,are you ready to spend money on your dog, are you ready to be patient with your dog,it you can do all this three things I think you should get a dog.

I think everyone has different tastes regarding the breed of dog they want. It depends on what kind of dog you are looking for, if you are just
starting out with a dog, it is best to start with a small dog breed. Like the Bulldog, Shin-Tzu, Chihuahua, and so on. But I have always liked
Siberian Husky very much, because its physical shape is similar to a wolf, and what's interesting about the Siberian Husky is its not-so-ferocious
character.

Dogs are great, I prefer them over cats any day. From the two breds I would prefer a Labrador. In my family we always had dogs. Usually we go to a dog shelter and look for a young dog. It is kind of sad in which conditions they are living there. It is good to give a home to those poor dogs. If you treat them with love, they will love you back unconditionally.

Dogs are great buddies to be with and if i were to choose from the two I would go for a Labrador. If you are considering buying dogs maybe you should also consider adopting dogs instead. Because from there you can get a dog you want and at the same time you saved a life. Dogs will give you a lot of love and attention, they are like family and whatever dog breed you will choose it will surely be worth it.

I use to Have One when I was Young but after he Died My parents decide not to have another one because of The Sadness it brings to us.
what it is not very dangerous if you choose a pit bull or a police dog? I heard that the two dogs are one master dogs and will become foam if they are not diligently fed.
If you don't know how to handle dogs then never have one , Dogs are Like humans  and needed to eat so why would you not feed them ?
So are just having your own grave if you don't give them food .

Huskies! Very smart dogs, insanely beautiful. The only thing is that they have a lot of energy, they are great for people with a big yard, not for apartments.

They are loving and loyal dogs, but of course must be treated well, Feed them good and never maltreated them so they will never get back against you.
Wow, congratulations, I'm sure she'll be a good friend to you and you to him.
maybe yes or not depend on how he will deal with the dog.

Lots of breeds of dog are great to have. Just remember it doesn’t have to be an expensive pedigree dog. There are lots of shelter dogs that are desperate for a home & people to love them. Maybe give that a thought?

Since you say you are big, I'd suggest you get a Tibetan mastiff. It will complement your size. If you stay alone and need a dog that you'd talk to and that will "respond", then get an Alaskan Malamute you'd never be bored a day in your life.

i personally dont like small dogs so i would advise you to get a big one , but if you dont have so much time to play with it you should get two so they can keep company one to another, when dogs live with a friend/s they are happier ( thats what i have seen by an owner myself)

I like a Golden Retriever, they are very sociable dogs and easily trained and I think they make good family pets for families with children.
They don't bark much, but if they do bark, it's likely that they're saying something you need to listen to. They make good watch dogs. They can be protective, but they won't hurt anyone unless provoked.

When in park earlier , I met a Dog owner that has Dachshund Dog and i fell inlove with G\Her cuteness .

Now I am searching for legit seller to purchase one and i will love to breed them to be a business as well, because most of my dogs puppies has been sold already .
