Report is quite bullish but also summarises this week's news from central banks around the globe which has been more cautious Title: Re: 2013-12-06 The Guardian "Bitcoin endorsed by Wall Street strategist" Post by: Carlton Banks on December 06, 2013, 12:31:09 AM All media coverage should have this headline from now on: "BITCOIN OPINIONS POLARISED INTO THOSE WHO GET IT AND THOSE THAT DON'T"
Then just run the latest "I get it/I don't get it" report. It would save alot of time, we could just look at who the owner is of the latest head above the parapet, and skip the rest of the text. I can't even summon the motivation to find out how credible the latest head on the chopping block actually is, there's just too much repetitive "Bitcoin is a decentralised...." waffle to wade through till they tell you something new. We're screwed. NB: I didn't read the article - I stopped when I saw Wall St mentioned. Occupy my friends ;D Title: Re: 2013-12-06 The Guardian "Bitcoin endorsed by Wall Street strategist" Post by: Lethn on December 06, 2013, 09:55:44 AM I think it's a good thing, if people on wall street want to trade it then that's their business and it would also help us politically because they'd lobby the politicians for laws that benefit Bitcoin users rather than restrict them. I have never really considered wall street to be 'evil' in that sense of the word, just greedy and Bitcoin is just another currency they will make money out of.

My thoughts exactly (by this stage). Good post. |
