and dont give extra money for "vapor-x" version - this is only a cooler tm (very loud and unconvenient!!!!) It hashes differently (If I'm thinking right its more complex than bitcoins sha256) Litecoin is the most known scrypt crypto currency, and its also much easier to mine using a GPU. Litecoin has a good conversion rate to Bitcoin so you make bitcoin faster that way.

The 290X will mine LiteCoin pretty well and apparently the pay-back is quite good at the moment if you're not paying through the nose for power |
