I've scaled down the ambition a little since I started getting into building my rainbow tables. It became very obvious very quickly that the amount of space required to store 20-character passwords with 128-character salts is presently more than the entire world's got at their disposal. I've also decided against trying to sell the table generator. Rather, I'm going to offer a lookup service. Having culled about a petabyte of space from free online storage and other places, I've got a decent table happening and an index to speed it up. Anyway. Here's the deal. I'll do them free for a day or two so y'all know I'm legit. It'll also be a good field test. After that, each password will cost USD$2 worth of BTC, at the weighted Mt Gox price. Large amounts will be considerably cheaper. If you have a hashed PW you would like cracked, PM it to me (or just post it, if you don't want a private reply). Don't go hashing a fifty-page book and sending it to me.... please? EDIT: Almost forgot the most important part. The tables are MD5 only. Title: Re: Password "recovery" service.
