If you already have hardware and can wait for preorders, you don't buy anything off ebay for the premium. However, if you need to buy in and don't want to wait, you're going to pay a lot.
Edit: Also, yes, people are losing money on these. I hope they realize this. Some are just expensive hardware, others are just flat out losses that they are fishing for idiots...and getting them.
